There's strangely a lack of voice lines in the Nickeloden All-Star Brawl trailer which had me worry. I heard that the Nickelodeon games these days don't have any voice acting (F*ck), so I might as well add these sh*t myself. Sound Resource is honestly a gift from the heavens for this video.

It’s amazing how tiny little voice lines and even something like grunts in their voices can add a ton of personality. I just hope the devs of this game don’t forget that.
Nick won't bother with resycle voice lines ciz the kart racers games don't have them same with the super brawl games bt those are just flash games and a mobile game

Bro I was dumbstruck when i saw Nigel reveal and they.didnt have the "smashing" voice clip when he does a forward smash. I figured it was a beta build but now I can't believe this is just how the game is.
This is just instant proof of how much better this game could be with voice acting, even if it's recycled, so much personality!

Update: The voice of Zim, Richard, has confirmed in his Instagram live stream that there are no voices acting or even old voice clips are in the game.

It probably doesn't have voice acting at this point. Maybe it can be something they add to the game later.
I don't think anyone expected this game to get so much hype, it is being made by an indie developer and the other Nick games have usually been scuffed budget games without voice acting.
If the game is successful, they will probably get the funding necessary for voice acting.
I doubt it, it would cost way more than what Nickelodeon might want to shell out, maybe it the game is a big hit they might add it for a sequel.
I dunno, somehow the Nicktoons Unite games (despite being a budget licensed game) has full fledged voice acting and cutscenes, so it's clear Nickelodeon can give GameMill the budget if they wanted to.
The Nickelodeon logo song at the beginning gave me some serious nostalgia.
When this comes to PC, this better be a mod. lol

Before you guys comment about not getting the game because of the lack of casual and voices: you guys might want to wait on this game a bit more.
The devs on HungryBox's interview said that they will continously update the game; there are still many things that they want to do with this game. Keep in mind that they don't have the size of personnel to work on the game like Smash did, and due to this constraint, they stressed that they want the community to break the game so that they can fix their oversights here and there; and have given the game freedom on the modding scene. The modders on their Discord are already making mad progress on figuiring out how the stuff works, and some have even found a way to add in voicelines for certain characters already.
Not to mention, dataminers found items for casual play; DLCs that kept leaking like there's no tomorrow; alt. costumes' textureshave been discovered; and, DLC stages have also been successfully modded into the game (most notably, the Garfield stage).
Lately, I've been thinking that I may have done more harm to the community by making these videos, rather than doing good. And to whoever is reading this, I do not mind that you feel this way and decided to not the game because of it. I am not forcing you, but please do keep an open mind.

@@nc3743 I mean if the devs are digging through source material to find attacks to give characters they can do the same for voices by getting already recorded sound clips. The work would be half way done.

For those who don't know, VAing in this was just not in the budget, doing so would mean they would have to skimp on the gameplay mechanics. It is something they want to do eventually (even add more characters) but the game needs to sell, which is why they wanted actual good gameplay to carry it. This isn't a AAA game, they weren't given the budget for it, if you want to no know more they did a interview, they didn't directly say this was the problem but judging by how they answered the questions its heavily implied. Max Dude did a video on it if you're interested.

And this is something I'm VERY worried about Not being included. Because there's SO much charm being lost, if they fail to incorporate this. Sure, the dev teams are different than that of Nick Kart Racers. But with the same publisher...there's still reason to worry.
Nick Kart not having voice lines means nothing, there's no where near as much voice work in Mario Kart compared to Smash.

This is something that needs to either be added or included in the next game. I’ve commented before, but it all really hinges on how well the game does and how big it gets. It makes me appreciate all of the details Sakurai puts into Smash.
Whether you consider it voice acting or not, sounds emanating from the characters makes a big difference. Captain Falcon wouldn’t be nearly as iconic if not for “Show me your moves”! Cloud’s Japanese line of “Limits were meant to be broken”. Sephiroth has a ridiculous amount of Japanese voice lines. Even just Pokémon sounds for the Pokémon make a big difference
I know it's unlikely but damn I hope Nickelodeon see the games potential and fund some voice acting for it. Even if they have to get some imitators it would be so hype.

i wish there were voices but because they come from tv shows with professional voice actors there's probably some kind of copyright or whatever going on, like if they wanted to use tom kenny's voice they'd probably have to pay loads of money they don't have

I like that the designs of the turtles are supposed to be from the 80s but you also chose voice clips from the 2003 Turtles. It's the best of both worlds, you gotta love it 🐢

it's not just voices but an overall lack of sound effects, the gameplay looks really fun enough so where its worth it but the sound effects would really add a lot
