After 2 bad days in the ER, I came home to rest and watched this video. Your house is amazing. You have so many spaces that you can never get bored. Your pantry is wonderful. So nice to see history preserved. I am pining for a blue spode set of dinnerware like yours since my childhood! I love spode! I wish I had this extra space to store food and tablewares, it’s better than what new homes come with today. It’s solid pine wood and your floors are beautiful too. Do you have any secret rooms or servant quarters? I could watch you cook, bake or clean all day! I love Avery so affectionate what a cutie❤️ oh and your galette and icecream look so good. yum!
Hi Kevin. I had my clever daughter -in-law help me arrange my kitchen and pantry. The 1st thing she did was get some baskets. She then arranged all hard to store things and very random things in them. Wayfair has really great ones often on sale and different sizes. I just love how they look and help my life. Thank you Teri. Thanks again for a look into your life. Enjoy that ice cream and galette.
I just love how old homes had places to store your dish collection. I always wanted a Butler’s pantry. Also, I can’t wait to try your ice cream recipe. I’ll let you know how it goes.
Getting notification of new video is always exciting because I know it guarantees a great recipe and beauty whether it be home or garden. It is very calming to a troubled mind. Thanks for wonderful content. Cleaning your pantry motivated me to get up and do mine 👍
Dear Kevin, I have my friend staying with me and I have shown her your videos( many), now she says she can’t cook and won’t cook! Kevin she is mesmerised by your charisma that comes across onto the tv, and has watched you all afternoon and she is all fired up to make a quiche and intends to make your peach galette, this is wonderful! When she gets home she is going to say to her daughters have you seen Kevin!! Oh what fun, well your kind laid back manner has made her listen! Thank you so much!
The galette and ice cream look amazing. I think the pantry cleaning, sorting, etc. is a job we all dislike! I've come to the conclusion that I buy too much as I end up disposing items that are expired -- it's like throwing money in the trash! Your pantry is gorgeous -- they knew how to live back in the day. Thanks for another charming video, Kevin. ❤
That dessert and ice cream looked to die for. You did a great job cleaning your pantry and organizing it. You are a joy to watch. Thank you so much for your "relaxing" videos.
Kevin this is another episode that I go back to when I need motivation! I love the way you make tasks fun, even those that most would consider Un-Fun! For the pantry, why not add lift racks in the very back to lift up items that are difficult to see way in the back? Knowing that a couple hundred years ago people were in that space, unlocking the door to get out tea, makes me smile! It does feel very good to get the places that are chaos organized! Take good care of yourself too! Much love!
I love rearranging pantry and cupboards. It drives my husband crazy at first and then he loves it. I think it refreshes everything. Thanks for sharing.
Oh my goodness, that pantry is to die for! ❤ Enjoy your galette and ice cream. There is nothing like homemade vanilla ice cream. Your recipe looks easy and delicious. Have a pleasant day!
I made the gallette tonight with peaches. It was a big hit. The pastry dough measurements yielded a crispy and buttery dough that was easy to work with. No or minimal cracking when folding over the peaches. Outstanding! Thanks very much.
Oh Kevin I love all your tips on how to make the dough! You are precise at the same time you make it so easy live all the spices you used. The ice cream oh my goodness you are a genious with the frozen half and half oh my goodness!! The galette a work of art. Avery looks like a Royal dog!!! Avery is loved. And I bet Avery loves you right back loyal to his master !!!! You pantry they are like mine I don’t even know I live your organization. Thank you for taking my fear away to even tackle my mess. Love what you did !! Thank you Kevin.
Your contractor also needs a reward. Scraping and painting is a true torture. I could truly become his best friend. The dessert looks perfect. Also, your pantry is to die for. They had such well thought out houses in those days.
I so look forward to seeing your video every Sunday evening dear. It’s a such a pleasure to watch you cook and do your bits in such a relaxed and pleasant way! Have a good week Kevin.🎉
Goodness gracious, the more I see of your country estate, the more I love it. The house looks so comfortable. I am going to my tiny kitchen to make vanilla ice cream right now! Have a good weekend.
You have inspired me to tackle my pantry! It is a job that I have procrastinated for almost 2 years. Thank you for knowing just what to do and when Kevin. I love your videos and can not get enough of them. "Look out, pantry! Here I come!"
Kevin, I cracked up when you opened the door to your .... ummm .... somewhat over stuffed, deep, top cupboard. 😂 But really, my mirth due purely to recognition, don't ya know?! 😉 Thanks for the wonderful visit and the "wow" ice cream recipe too.
Oh Kevin, what I wouldn’t give for a pantry, let alone one like yours. I have to agree with Colleen that baskets would help. You’ve now spurned me on to make another gallette. I made one last year after our lovely neighbours June and Les sent me fresh figs, absolutely fantastic with honey and almonds. Keep up the good work, I love your home and channel.
Hi Kevin, Like you, I'm doing tasks in my kitchen that I don't enjoy, either. Thankfully, my stove is self cleaning but even so, it still requires a final wipe down with vinegar to remove charred bits and ashes. Also, the door inside never cleans well along with the racks which ust be removed before cleaning the oven. These items must be cleaned with oven cleaner. Next on my list is my counter top convection oven. This one is a life saver but boy! is it ever dirty. I use it a lot but I'm now at the stage whereby I am strong enough to get these nasty-wasty tasks done. No excuses anymore!😅 The sad part is that I don't have a peach(nectarine) and ice cream to reward myself. Gosh, yours looks so yummy! But I do have an ice-cream machine. So maybe I'll make erry ice cream. It will be ready this evening. I'll try making your scrumptious gazette in my nice clean oven this week. E njoyed your video and love your beautiful pantry! Have a great week. And Avery, as well! Cheers! Judy.
That galette looks wonderful, I have no fear of pastry any more - thanks to you.❤ thank you for the uploads, they are my little piece of elegance, peace and heaven in the week.
I’ve never made one but viewing your wonderful demo, it’t my next joy. Love your peaceful music and each presentation. You are one awesome person to “spend time” with.
Kevin! Fantastic idea I will adopt. Freeze half & half in ice cube trays! I always forget how many ways I could use my freezers! Wh have a deep freeze in the basement, two refrigerator freezers & a half deep freeze on the main floor. I have to say, I like how you consistently teach us to use the freezer to save everything & to put up foods which can be served when time is short and company is coming! Blessings 🌼
I have severe pantry envy! What a lovely space! I also mourn the demise of the larder which, in the UK used to be built against a north facing wall and aerated with a very small window, unglazed, and covered by, I think, perforated zinc. The larder usually contained a meat safe and shelves providing ideal conditions for storing vegetables and baked goods. The lower shelves were often made of slate or stone. If you ever see the still life paintings of the wonderful late 17th century French artist, Chardin, you will see the simple household objects or produce he paints are mostly placed on a slate shelf. One of my favourites shows just a pyramid of small and alluring strawberries arranged on a rustic earthenware dish sitting on such a shelf. This storage has, of course, been superseded by refrigeration but in many ways, the larder was less harsh on vegetables and bread kept well, in an earthenware crock with a wooden lid, the earthenware allowing it to breathe and the wood locking down bacteria. Your time management is also enviable; you seem to plan your days in such a way that you must feel great satisfaction when you wind down in the evening. I'm going to try the peach galette, and, if I am feeling sufficiently energetic might embed the fruit in a layer of creme patissiere. I'm not a big fan of strawberry jam so would use red currant jelly to glaze it. I have just been given a big ball of celariac and apart from mashing it with potato, making soup or celeriac remoulade (fiddly!) nothing more interesting comes to mind. Do you have any ideas?
I live in an old colonial styled farmhouse built in 1850. It is now on 3 acres but was originally on 8 acres and was a mini farm. Some acreage on each side to the back was sold off and other houses have been built on that land. But there is still enough property for me make additions to my home. I would love to have a separate pantry added on. It would have to be on the side of my dining room most likely. But with more space comes more work. Thanks for sharing your home and recipes. Always enjoyable. ❤
Oh Kevin....those cupboards, that pantry....I just fell more in LOVE with your BEAUTIFUL home!!❤ Thank you for sharing! And, the peach galette is now on my menu!
Thank you dear Kevin Lee Jacobs - wonderful galette recipe and wonderful ice cream recipe. Will be trying both recipes on Friday, to prepare for the demands of the sweet tooth in our family - my spouse, Martin, who - since I have been watching your inspiring videos - will pre-empt any plans I may have for not baking for the weekend by saying something along the lines of "What is Kevin Lee Jacobs baking at the moment?" Martin is German and simply loves fruit galettes and tarts, so this coming weekend - 13 and 14th January 2024, I shall be making these recipes. I love your pantry, reminds me of the pantry in my great-grandmother's house. I am grateful to you for the gentle and lovely way you present your videos, thank you. Hester Stiller, Cape Town, South Africa
I don't know why, but I really enjoy your cleaning videos. I feel like they inspire me to go clean some area I have been putting off attending to. The gallette looks delicious, as well.
Dear Kevin, I bought nectarines yesterday! Today, coincidently, here is your lovely galette recipe. I am going to reward myself after cleaning out my refrigerator (UGH). I have to halve the recipe because I don't have as many fruit, and besides, there's only me. Thank you and Aloha. I just LOVE your show!
What a magnificent pantry! I look forward to seeing how and where you relocated your food items. Your nectarine galette with homemade vanilla ice cream made my mouth water. Beautiful home and garden! Thanks Kevin🙏❤️
Wow, I just love your pantry. When we added onto our house we didn’t need a fifth bathroom so we converted the bathroom on the back porch into a pantry. Nothing as elegant as yours but believe me it holds a lot! Have a safe week until your next video.❤️😘😊
As always thank you so very much for your inspiring video. Please do me a favor when the house next door goes up for sale let me know. Having a neighbour with such energy and the love for fine living what more could one ask for.
Good afternoon Kevin, deep cleaning & organizing are the most important millions ladies not interested to do, you're having so much passion I see in you, I loved your cabinet you returned so nice colors of plates that today you don't see more of those, walking in your garden are blassing with cuty dogs kindly you walked us there, thanks , I have my day of today, I refuse to go to gardens around my area, so many strangers I like to stay home & watch my uncle Kevin , thank you❤
What a perfect reward for a job well done. I now understand why my gazette is soggy sometimes. Great tips! Your home is so lovely as is the yard. It takes constant maintenance, but it's obvious that it's attended to.
Very delish! Will have to try soon - I did some pantry cleaning this summer. You can buy your favorite design stick and peel off wall paper at Target to line the cabinets, too.
Gosh you are so lucky to have a pantry like this. I am surprised you have not been cleaning and jaazzing it up every month online. It could be stunning with decorative items on top and the wood enriched and darkened with oil
I absolutely am green with envy over your pantry! It is amazing, and your reward looks delicious. Nectarines are one of my favorites, and you did a tremendous job of making them look extra delicious . Nothing better than homemade ice cream, and yours turned out amazing.
Clear containers are great for holding items in the shelves, Mr. Kevin. I was quite worried about you on the tall ladder. May you continue to be well. Thank you for sharing your recipes, lovely home and property and not to forget fur babies. Have a wonderful week💜
I had just went through and cleaned items I had stored in my basement. I sure wish I had your reward to treat myself but I will now. The galette and homemade icecream looked amazing. Wonderful pantry area you have, so spacious and charming. I enjoyed this video, very motivating.
Hey kevin, this is what we used to call in the old days of 111 and 1/2. One cup of flour 1 cup of sugar 1 cup of milk and a half a cup of butter. It is so quick and easy you can throw it together in 5 minutes thanks for reminding me about it I had completely forgotten
I only discovered your channel a few months ago. I am so busy and have a lot of anxiety in my life but at night when everyone’s asleep and I can finally put my feet up your videos are so pleasant and calming. Your house and yard are beautiful and your demeanor is so gracious and articulate. It really takes the edge off. Thank you for what you do.
Very charming video. You bring calm and ease to any task or project. Your presentations are like a visit with a friend and this viewer finds solace and peace in your company.
It's great to see you too Kevin! I hope you are all well and ialways look forward to your video installments. Please keep them coming and thank you for giving us a glimpse into your life in the beautiful upstate New York. ❤❤ Also, I meant to say, I made your recipe for the blueberry galette for a neighborhood potluck and it was a major HIT! It wasn't as beautiful as yours but I think I will get some practice in because I already had requests for it for future potlucks 😊
Hello, Kevin 🖐️ How are you 😉 Thank you so much, for sharing with us all the beaty you have around you 🙏 Your home is adorable, the garden is marvellous 💟 I respect you for loving animals 🐕🐈 Good luck 🩷💗💓
It's always more fun to watch clean then for me to actually do it. Thanks for the ASMR. It does look so much better. R u looking for a job? ☺️ Thanks for sharing.
I like watching you clean and organize, as it gives me hope that it will rub off on me and inspire my doing the same thing here at my 1950s Cape Cod cabinish style of house, with knotty pine paneling. The peach gallet and homemade ice cream is my favorite part of the video, along with Avery's walk in the garden. Thank you for sharing with us. Take care.♥️🐕🌸🌻💐🍑☕🥧
Ah, Kevin Lee Jacobs, you inspire me to clean out my pantry & cabinets, a great task for a day that is too hot to be out in. Hmm. Perhaps next weekend. Why is this such an odious task when the result is so worth it. Making a peach galette should help! Love you to bits.💚
Hey Kevin. It's ALWAYS such a joy to see your new content! Love your calm style, such variety in your interests and abilities. Like I just said, ALWAYS a pleasure!😃🐕🍑🍑🍑🍑
Kevin, I wonder if you have spent lots of time across the pond. My husband is from the UK, and he says "clingfilm". The galette looks wonderful. Thank you again for videos that are like a gentle gift of gracious living to viewers.
Your pantry... so much space.🥰 What I do sometimes...I use my pantry staff for meals before buying new. The reward is delicious! I can taste from here in my head😅 Much❤💛💖 from South of France
Oh, Kevin! I am so jealous!!! I do a lot of canning and preserving, and that pantry would be filled with all my seasonal equipment. Up top would be the steam juicer and water canners, and like you, I'd be storing my nice serving pieces, glass wear, table linens, etc., in those cabinets, along with home canned foods! I'll definitely try the peach galette recipe. I don't own a blender, but I do have a Kitchenaid ice cream bowl attachment. My favorite is French vanilla ice cream made from a custard recipe using egg yolks and heavy cream - Not exactly diet fare!
I hope you gave John some of your peach gallette. A big job, but I line under my sinks (kitchen and bathroom) and cabinet shelves with the cheapest self-stick vinyl tile. Easy clean up and a one-time job. It lasts forever. I loved seeing some of your pretty serve ware and cake stands.
That Pantry is so awesome !!/:) I am so glad that Kevin and Mr Fox have kept this special house at it's original decor and form. jsyk - I went onto Amazon and they have plenty of 18" deep pull out double tiered, slide out wire shelving. I installed some for under my kitchen sink (24" deep) and my bathroom sink (18" deep).
Kevin, I love your uploads, suddenly, I am tansported to a distant country and simply beautiful surroundings. This is my daydream time, how I would love to visit with you over cup of tea. Will you please add in your description box that nifty floor washer you used to give your pantry floor a final wash, it looks ever so sufficient, thank you in advance!
I didn't even know what a galette was until this video Kevin. I'm a bit dim when it come to cooking 😂 but I enjoy learning through you and your relaxed manner. Keep safe and best wishes from the UK
Lovely galette. I like doing plum ones. My mom would put a very small amount of corn start on the bottom of her pie shells. But didn't even think of doing that for my galettes. Thanks!
Hi Kevin, I'm catching up with episodes I've missed over the Summer. You have just made an apple Galette this week but this peach or nectarine galette look just as appetising. I'll make the apple one first as it's now Autumn and go from there! Your take on ice cream is really clever. In the UK we don't seem to be able to buy half and half as a product [at least, not that I'm aware of] but it is easy enough to create of course, particularly as you have used ice cube trays as you did. Your food processor definitely takes all the heavy work out of stirring and making ice cream as they used to in the old fashioned way! I just LOVE your huge walk in pantry room and the extra deep cupboards and shelves. You are right. A HUGE job to tackle at any time and you definitely needed to be in the right mood to do it. I wonder just how many treasures you found in the process with a lot of "Ah! I wondered where that had got to!" moments!! Congratulations on getting most of it completed. So much nicer when you have baked ahead a nice treat to look forward to. Thank you for sharing a new room in your delicious house and for making the Peach Galette. Love and Hugzz to you, Mr Fox, Avery, Binky and not forgetting your Videographer Lizeth.
I can’t wait to see where you put those food items. My pantry looks just like yours.❤ Peach Galette and Homemade Ice Cream look delicious. Can’t wait to try. Thank you.
Meant to also say that I just love a walk in pantry, they went a bit out of fashion for a while but are making a comeback. A cluttered overfull pantry makes it harder to choose what you want or see what you have available.
I think that I would be tempted to get some stick on liner in a nice bright white colour and line all the pantry cupboards including the sides to make it look fresh and clean. They would also be easier to just wipe down when dusty or dirty.
Oh my word just when I thought your home couldn't be more gorgeous... sigh, that pantry! Thanks for sharing!
After 2 bad days in the ER, I came home to rest and watched this video. Your house is amazing. You have so many spaces that you can never get bored. Your pantry is wonderful. I did something similar to arrange my food pantry. It makes it easier to see what I have, and it looks amazing.
Love your gorgeous pup!
I just love how old homes had places to store your dish collection. I always wanted a Butler’s pantry. Also, I can’t wait to try your ice cream recipe. I’ll let you know how it goes.

Inspired to make a Galette as a reward for long-postponed kitchen cabinet reorganizing 😍 💜
That pantry is gorgeous. I love old homes. You are lucky to have a special one.
That pantry is AMAZING.
Hello Mr Kevin, thank you for your honesty about household chores. You gave me the boost I needed to clean my pantry with armlength deep shelving. 😊
That looks amazing!! I love all your recipes Kevin and love your dog and house!!😘🌹

Kevin, I'm exhausted watching you work but you've shamed me into getting off my duff and washing my 🐕 !!! ❤❤❤
Loved the Pantry Tidying! So satisfying! And the reward was sublime!!! Great video Kevin.
Very delish! Will have to try soon - I did some pantry cleaning this summer. You can buy your favorite design stick and peel off wall paper at Target to line the cabinets, too.
Thank you Kevin you gave me the motivation to do my pantry ☺️
Ohh Halelujah. Had to laugh. Such a wonderful ❤️ reaction to your stupendous galette!!!
Gosh you are so lucky to have a pantry like this. I am surprised you have not been cleaning and jaazzing it up every month online. It could be stunning with decorative items on top and the wood enriched and darkened with oil
Absolute best pantry , definitely worth restoring that beautiful place
I absolutely am green with envy over your pantry! It is amazing, and your reward looks delicious. Nectarines are one of my favorites, and you did a tremendous job of making them look extra delicious . Nothing better than homemade ice cream, and yours turned out amazing.
You are too much. My quiet time watching you from my mounting vacation home in Italy. Thank you Kevin
Oh Kevin! Instead of continuing a lot of cleaning and organising my home after my Brittany stay I am with you and relax....😊
I made a nectarine gallette last week! It was delicious. That ice cream recipe looks tremendous!
Kevin love your recipes you make everything look so easy
I have to tell you when I am stressed I put one of your videos on instant relaxation thank you
I only discovered your channel a few months ago. I am so busy and have a lot of anxiety in my life but at night when everyone’s asleep and I can finally put my feet up your videos are so pleasant and calming. Your house and yard are beautiful and your demeanor is so gracious and articulate. It really takes the edge off. Thank you for what you do.
Oh my goodness, that all looks so wonderful, including the coffee! Definitely saving these recipes. Yum! 🤗💕
Very charming video. You bring calm and ease to any task or project. Your presentations are like a visit with a friend and this viewer finds solace and peace in your company.
Dear Kevin ; I believe The Swiffer is one of the great inventions ever ! 😊
Your double egg server dish would make a beaut watercolour palette 🎨 😊
Hello, Kevin 🖐️ How are you 😉 Thank you so much, for sharing with us all the beaty you have around you 🙏
Your home is adorable, the garden is marvellous 💟
I respect you for loving animals 🐕🐈
Good luck
🩷💗💓
It's always more fun to watch clean then for me to actually do it. Thanks for the ASMR. It does look so much better. R u looking for a job? ☺️ Thanks for sharing.
That pantry is GORGEOUS!!!
Good morning dear friend! Wish you a beautyful day.
Kevin, I wonder if you have spent lots of time across the pond. My husband is from the UK, and he says "clingfilm". The galette looks wonderful. Thank you again for videos that are like a gentle gift of gracious living to viewers.
Your pantry... so much space.🥰
What I do sometimes...I use my pantry staff for meals before buying new.
The reward is delicious! I can taste from here in my head😅
Much❤💛💖 from South of France
Kevin, you could call in a carpenter and he would make pullouts for your cupboards. That’s what we did when we were faced with the same problem.
And that Galette looked yummy! Love to see a video on the painting of the shutters.
SUPER! Was so looking forward to my Show!
Ohhh to have a pantry such as yours..just 😍 stunning.
The galette / ice cream looks delicious 😋 yum yum.
Love and Hugzz to you, Mr Fox, Avery, Binky and not forgetting your Videographer Lizeth.
we appreciat your company too. Thank you so much
It always refreshes me to look at your videos.
I can’t wait to see where you put those food items. My pantry looks just like yours.❤ Peach Galette and Homemade Ice Cream look delicious. Can’t wait to try. Thank you.
Thx for inspiring me to clean and organize a couple of places in my own kitchen, dining room.
Hello from France ! I really love your videos, style and recipes. !!! Thank you so much ! Merci beaucoup !
I love your beautiful, old, home!
Meant to also say that I just love a walk in pantry, they went a bit out of fashion for a while but are making a comeback. A cluttered overfull pantry makes it harder to choose what you want or see what you have available.
You got me with the galette right off the bat-YUM!
I think that I would be tempted to get some stick on liner in a nice bright white colour and line all the pantry cupboards including the sides to make it look fresh and clean. They would also be easier to just wipe down when dusty or dirty.
