Peter only made the offer on the porridge crap just so he could position himself for a swift takeover of the guy’s other business, along with his money, and his house, and his wife…
Tej has always been my favourite dragon. He's never greedy, big headed and intimidating. He is totally grounded and fair without a massive ego like Peter. He would always be my first choice.
I agree. Tej and I think the other dragon is nick. I can't remember for sure if that's his name. But both of them are great in my opinion, at least personality wise.
I should start a business by nicking the The Great British Baking Show's IP. The Great British Chocolate Bar Company. The Great British Toothpaste Company. You get it. It has a built in recognition.
Never been there but how big is this Selfridges place ffs?` Almost every thing that comes on here they have taken, good or bad lol The place must be enormous
First time I’ve known Peter not ask for a % of the guys other business. 😂
First time I've known Peter not ask for an absolute chunk of the guys business.

"The issue that you have with margins, is an issue" - Tej Lalvani
what a chump
Yeah I liked that quote but he was just wanting it to be brought back up in the spotlight for a moment.
Nothing wrong with that statement because it is an issue that they have
Yes I concur. This is the issue

He always backed off if there was even the slightest hint of doubt...
Put some flow signals in the Porridge and you have a winner.
It's mimicking the direction in which the porridge flows around in the bowl
You can feel the FOMO from the other dragons on this one. Good grab from Tej.
Tej nailed it on this one. That was like a sprinter passing the pack at the last moment.
Sadly the rejected the offer post-show.
they should have picked peter and deb they have learned the mistakes..
tej is a multimillionaire in also a similar industry
Tej is well positioned in this space
3:34 "It's all a hundred percent natural" cool, I look forward to tasting that arsenic.
deal didnt happen, but they seem to still be going strong. However they have avoided the supermarkets.
Why did the deal not go through?
And why are they avoiding supermarkets?
Please define "going strong". Companieshouse gives a negative net asset worth.
@@BenjaminGooseFun fact, so does Amazon
Companies House on the contrary says they are doing well.
I’ve seen this on the shelves in work just shows what putting your mind to it can do
the porridge pair
are in a rare
position
Or otherwise ...The porridge pair are in a Goldilocks and Three Bear Position !
I though they were there to answer the question: "Do bears 💩 in the woods?"
Gluten free porridge burger with porridge wedges and a delicious, spicy, porridge dip to dunk them in. Followed by porridges and custard for desert.
What a look from my greatest dragon Peter
*this product’s profit margins
Peter ALWAYS smashes them at first, predicts doom and gloom, and then says. "OK I'll help you, I want 99% of your business for £5:00:00"
13:05 where the bears go?
They turned down the offer after the show apparently . And last year was worth -£178,000
Is that in the red or plus?

Did they just choose a dragon for 10,000 more??
Dragons' Den food entrepreneurs turn down Tej Lalvani and go solo in bid to hit £2m turnover

Asking for way too much equity. 3 other dragons dropped. All for such a low amount too, risk was very low for Peter and Debbie
Go to a shop buy some oats
Get out of your bed and make some porridge
Not rocket science
The world is full of lazy people
Sugar, dates, honey. Almost same thing. Almost same harm.
