0:03. How is Megan a ball of sunshine, she left her little brother to die on Mars. She’s evil.

And I guess M'comm's plan to intentionally kill their siblings and all of the green Martians doesn't make him evil as well? M'gann was a child when she fled Mars, she shouldn't have been responsible for her brother. But at the same time, that makes M'gann a great character because she used to hurt people just like her brother, whether it was deliberate or not. But she made the choice to stop hurting people and redeem herself whereas M'comm didn't. That's why YJ is such a good show because you have complex characters that we can hate and love at the same time

@@psychostxr Why didn’t Megan just take Mcomm with her to Earth when she returned to Mars in 2016. Even Garfield was able to meet Mcomm in 2016, he confirms they were all on the same planet before. Megan has a 2nd chance to make things right years before she met him again on New Genesis. Huge plot-hole.

@@calvarado2986 Maybe she did try to convince him to go back with her to Earth, or she didn't. We don't know because the series nor the YJ comics told us, and since the show wasn't renewed, we might never know. But M'comm was likely intended to be a bad guy, seeing as he was initially Martian Manhunter's evil twin brother in the comics. So the writers needed motivation for M'comm to become a White Martian extremist, and M'gann leaving her brother was the force that tipped the scale to make M'comm a villain. But don't get me wrong, I love M'comm as a character and understand his motivations. But I also love and understand M'gann's perspective because she had to save herself first before she could begin to save others

@@psychostxrWe don’t know need the show to be renewed to tell us because we already know. The writers had plenty of episodes to bring it up, and didn’t. Megan did not want Mcomm to live on Earth with her, even thought it was possible. The villian has a more horrible backstory than Megan.
