I love how you were talking about how you would almost certainly have to recall the drones while one of them was dying, I'm glad it survived, if bareilly.
Yep. Well done Benzie. Exactly what I was trying to ask for - ships that are useful for multiple purposes. Most probably don't have the skills / isk to build ALL of these boats, so a fit that works in multiple targets is much more worth the investment (even if the Isk payout isn't as high as one optimized for a single site). Thank you!
Sleepers are omni, I would say that multispectrum energized armor thingy is better fit - with L4 skills in armor compensation it is 21.6% resist. And no cap use. Some cheap faction may be even better.
Yes, they have Omni, but it's spread across two weapon types. In C3 sites, the damage types actually end up imbalanced, especially with smaller ships like the HACs where the missiles don't apply as well, so the Reactive often ends up better until you get pretty high up the bling Multispectrum (iirc it was A-Type to break). For C4 upwards, yes, Multispectrum work better for sure due to the increased balance in incoming damage. It's easy to look at the Fitting Screen stats and see the Multispectrum looks better on paper, but in practice, with a lot of testing (C3 ratting is basically my focus) the Reactive functions better.
@@captainbenzie True that. It's easy to forget that kinetic and and explo come from ?cruise? missiles, which don't apply well on cruisers. I am not sure what distribution you end up with rah, but 50M module gives over 24% across the board. When looking at resists from energized membranes never forget that they are increased by armor compensation skills. Though I agree it's not going very cheap, requires a bunch of skills and may end up being worse in practice than rah anyway.
Hey Captain o7, I like this Playlist so much. I have a little question, did you know a solution for the Unsecured/forgooten Sites in C3s. I don´t want to bring a 2 Bill Rattlessnake for that. Was hopping there is an cheaper Solution outthere. I have no Idea where to start. Thx
How do you find these sites you're running? And how do you know you're not going to die when you try something new? Eve is so brutal, nothing is explained anywhere and every time i try anything new i basically get bankrupted by dying.
The sites are shown in the Probe Scanner list (you can see mine in the lower right of the screen) as already scanned signatures. I like to have that little window removed and on my main UI. As for "will it die"? Honestly, you don't, first time. I've been running wormhole content for years though and have been working on a full wormhole guide so I know these sites backwards at this point. EVE is indeed brutal. Have good friends and a corp around you, and it becomes much easier. Fly cheap ships, research online, and repeat stuff. Find something that works, build up ISK, then consider trying new. That's the loop. 😊
For wormhole sites, if you search for "Rykki's Guide", that will give you a google doc of what enemies are in each wormhole site. Note, the most updated version has a hilariously long name after being passed between several different maintainers: "Grubu's Maintained Nolak's Updated..." etc. Rykki's guide is a good starting point for WH PvE since it gives you concrete numbers you can compare against before actually throwing a ship at the content.
I swapped out the assault damage and ballistic guidance for em hardener and thermal hardener for the low slot and for the mid I toke out the guidance system for a target painter and drone link for faster drones I use tech 2 drones and javilen missiles
SIGNIFICANTLY cheaper and does much the same. I've done videos on the Tengu too. Tengu is more expensive because it's versatile. The Sacrilege is more narrow in its focus, and much cheaper.
Mmmh… Now im confused which ship i should pick for easy ISK/h 😂 Drekavac, Vagabond or this Lady here 😅 Rattle seems a bit to high ISK risk for a C3. Praxis is too slow for my taste.
@@captainbenzie This is properly bizarre. I am trying to see what skills could possibly effect this fit other than capacitor management, capacitor systems operation and afterburners. I have all 3 to 5 and have spent the last half hour wracking my brains to try and make it work but I am stuck at 38 mins of (non stable) cap.
@@AlexanderBussey-cx5gc honestly, 38 mins is absolutely fine!! That's not running out any time soon! But there are some armour skills and the like that affect capacitor too
@@captainbenzie Indeed - just figured it out by playing around in pyfa. Turns out I was being an idiot and assuming that the republic fleet cap battery was a medium one cos y'know, cruisers fit medium moduls right? What a div.
Haven't done C3s in a while, but I remember that most of the tank for cruisers is speed/sig tanking. At a first glance your low slots looks a bit weird. Instead of Reactive (which is pretty low efficiency for omni incomind damage, not to mention uses cap), Assault DCU ( again passive is low efficiency against omni damage) and a second armor repairer(which needs cap again), why not use a couple good old Multispectrum Energized Membranes II and a DCU II, which will give you at least the following resist profile 80% 80% 85% 92%?( Maybe more, I don't have perfect armor skills) L.E. one of my rigs is a thermal reinforcer I I would also use rage missiles, as they are 10x cheaper than faction missiles and use a Hydraulic Bay Thruster II rig to compensate for the range drop. ( it would get your Rage missiles to 32km ( or more, my missiles skills are mediocre) This way your cap is stable at around 50% and have an easier time with the neuts and don't spend a fortune of faction missiles.
I don't know about the ADC, you probably never have to use it and the resistances aren't that great. I'd rather use a plate, or maybe a capacitor power relay to use MWD instead of AB.

My drone control isn't great 😅

Glad to help! Been a fun little project trying these different ships and fits!
31:58: SIX webs, extreme drone damage and a score of ships doing large alpha damage?😮. I may as well take up Wordfeud again lol. Fascinating video
Thank you and yes, this is why I enjoy these sites so much more than Nullsec ratting!

The Rattlesnake fit I showcased beforehand can do it and is only 1.3bn. Otherwise, bring friends. Those sites are essentially C4 difficulty.

I'd rather use a plate, or maybe a capacitor power relay to use MWD instead of AB.
MWD also reduces your max capacitor by 25% just for having it fitted. You will get neuted out. Plates also slow you right down.
Let alone MWDs also balloon your signature to make you a larger target.
