There is three options on how he’s breathing: 1, he isn’t and he is just holding his breath. 2, He is a robot. 3, he has a breathing tube so he can breathe
@@MotahFahka Yes, but Sora has a weird filter and the stuff it generates is unealistically smooth, it wouldn't be able to imitate real life clay physics
I clicked on this expecting it to be a viral art video and was genuinely surprised when I looked at the view count. (edit: welp turns out its a re-upload ;u; 👍should've probably expected that tbh)
my interpretation of this would be: a person who hides away from everyone else, not showing their emotions when the time comes, they eventually break free from their bottle of emotions the emotions that come out show who they really are
Or Someone who hurts themselves, to show fake emotions to others so that they might have a chance at being accepted The slicing off the face parts, and the pouring out of the "smile" as if it were blood might bring to mind self harm if you know what that means The paint flowing out from the "eyes" and "mouth" after cutting off parts of the clay head resembles crying as well, even though the expression is supposed to be a smile. Maybe it's a metaphor for how people let out cathartic emotions from harming themselves (I would know, not a good position to be in trust me)
@@rpcsa8 at least he isn't using a knife, or any related "cutter" blades to slice off the pieces of clay, although that might be a stupid decision that reduces effectiveness.
I like to interpret this work as "BLEEDING HEART", The entire brown part represents the heart, but once he starts to carve it (as like someone breaking your heart or betraying ), the yellow/blue paint gushing out symbolises pain and blood, it's as if the heart keeps bleeding out as people keep carving it(taking advantage of someone's feelings) and cries for help silently..

That’s cool. You could view it as finding your inner self underneath the muck. Also I fully believe there is a tube that is behind his head for breathing because if not I’m deeply scared for him.
Pretty amazing! Of course it’s reminiscent of de Sagazan but I don’t mean to say it’s derivative. Using soft and molds or materials to make one’s body an ever changing sculpture is awesome and more people should do it. It reminds me of butoh dance. A lot of contemporary butoh artists take aesthetic ideas from the founders, but they make it their own.
I take from it that aside from having a shallow and unfortunately poor understanding of art and artistic value, you feel as though your reaction to a piece of art is a part of the bigger picture in the very field you're not versed in. In a way, you're reacting in just the kind of way the artist intended (possibly), as you had what appears to be a visceral(?) reaction to this video? Consider yourself provoked and art still working like a well-oiled machine. What also becomes obvious to me is that you are un-initiated in the consumption of art to the point that you are seemingly not aware of the fact that art of this caliber- and far stranger and more disturbing, minimalistic, what have you- has existed for longer than you (and especially I) have been alive. Take that how you will.
@@MIIRAPOSAI think the main point of the comment was to say that this really is just a man will a ball of clay filled with paint on his head. I have no reaction to it. It does not feel like art. It just feels like a video of a guy using a wire to cut clay off the the lump on his head. I'm sure this is what the commenter meant.
art is a beautifully sculpted sculpture of an important person or thing or object or some other. Art is a painting of a beautiful landscape or an imaginary otherworldly place or a visual representation of how you feel. Art is the continual painting of self portraits as you slowly lose yourself. This isn’t art. This is a man with a lump of clay on his head

It's very oddly satisfying. It's also something you could slap a black and white + VHS filter on and edit into The Ring, so I give the artist props for the overlap.
