That player respect thing is real, less players will give them 100%. Its a business sure but some guys play well enough for you that you cant just drop the contract. Same thing with Stamkos in Tampa. I am not surprised that Fleury decided to play for the Hawks. Putting aside the current fiasco, the Blackhawks have a very positive reputation amongst players in the NHL. They take care of their players and Chicago is a good place to play.

Mikael Hakkarainen is a decent prospect and a very good fit for the golden knights minors league system but he is injury prone but golden knights should have tried to get him and way more then just him
