Google Deep Purple at the California Jam. Burn was the first album to have David Coverdale on lead vocals and Glenn Hughes on Bass and Vocals. You will enjoy the Live Performance at California Jam 74.
That whole album, “Burn” is definitely worth checking out, even if it’s just on your own, not in a reaction. Great production and like you said musicians at the top of their form. This was the first Deep Purple album when they changed singers so there is a fresh energy to the band.
Excellent reaction..deep purple is as good as anybody.. One of the best hard rock bands to come out of England..watch them perform this live from the California jam 1974 that was broadcast live on abc TV back in 1974 The whole concert will blow your mind.
Best version of Burn (but audio only) is from the Made In Europe album, taken from their 1975 European tour, Ritchie Blackmore's last gigs with Purple before leaving. Absolutely killer.

You should listen to Made In Japan. It is considered by millions as the best Live Album in a short time of Epic Live Albums of the early seventies to mid seventies.
