I learn something new about every time I watch one of Your videos. And I know very little about Turbos! But those Pins looked really rough.The knurling looked really bad. I would think press fit or screw in type Pin would work better. just a guess. I really enjoy these videos!👍
I fixed a set of these before , I may have to watch a previous video I made on that rebuild. I think these are 3000$ maybe more. I really think these are the best turbos for that car if they can be fixed and made reliable .

Custom seal? Machine the lip on the shaft and then machine down an oversized seal if exists?
Wouldn't the amount of thrust against the seal "encourage" the effect?
