The day this premiered Scott Porter was watching UA-cam and personally replied to many reacters to thank them for their respect of Rek. He responded to a lot of our comments as well, including mine. That says volumes to me about VoicePlay and Scott. When you watch the BTS for their videos you see not just the amazing musical talent they have, but the camaraderie between them and that always includes their guest stars. They're also incredibly humble. Scott was their original beatboxer and Layne moved from baritone to fill in the role after Scott left for Hollywood. Such a wonderful tribute to a friend. God speed Rek! On another note, they do quite a few minis that are literally sound effects as well. They do streaming channel intros, TV theme songs......they are so good. I'd load several of them to do at a time. You also need to see their horror movie mini medley. It's Layne and not Geoff that freaks me out in that one.

In Boy Bands in 5 Minutes, he's the guy who passes off a sub sandwich to Earl. He also shot some very cool behind the scenes video of VoicePlay while they were making their video for This Is Halloween (you can find it on his personal channel).
Here's to Rek! Not a gamer, never even heard of Halo before they came out with this one. The music is amazing, Geoff hit his lowest note (so far) a B0. About the video - You were completely right this is Geoff like we've never heard before! He hits a B0 subharmonic at the beginning and the end, which was a new record for him! Since then he's been pretty stable with C1 subharmonics, which is astonishing in itself. I'm also happy you acknowledged the dubstep portion for how awesome it is, as I've never heard an acapella group anything like this either! This video is definitely a milestone in many ways for VoicePlay, and Layne did a fantastic job with the arrangement. And you made a very fun, interesting and respectful analysis and reaction!

I'm here now, better late than never. HALO is amazing. Tim Foust is also dropping a new this morning also. So will be off to that one next.

Ive I've listened to Alot of Scott Porter Halo speech. It saddens me that they lost a long time friend. Unfortunately Rek passed away from Covid. He can be seen in Voiceplay Boy Bands In 5 Minutes handing Earl a sandwich. But you are the only reactor that brought years to my eyes when you did the 10 seconds of silence. Many reactors paid their condolences in different ways. Thank you for that. I'm not much of a cryer. So I was very surprised at my tears.

I knew two people who died of it and a couple of my loved ones are now dealing with Long COVID-one may have to carry an O2 tank around indefinitely. Some of this could have been prevented. The messaging on the whole thing was just a disaster from the start.
