we also say assi, bala for bohot (a lot), kakh for nothing and a lot of other words in dogri are similar to Punjabi. I personally think of dogri as a dialect of Punjabi but that's my personal opinion. I don't mean to offend anyone by this. we also say assi, bala for bohot (a lot), kakh for nothing and a lot of other words in dogri are similar to Punjabi.
I personally think of dogri as a dialect of Punjabi but that's my personal opinion. I don't mean to offend anyone by this.

Dogri is a dialect of western pahari bhai not punjabi, Its different Jammu distt ke log pure dogri nhi bol pate ab kyuki kashmiri, punjabi bhi rehte udr isliye pollute hogyi hai sirf udhampur, kathua ke areas me pure dogri boli jaati hai

Bhawani Detha Abe duffer tujko English bhi nhi bolna aata. Mei ye Keh raha hu ke Ye language Punjabi se ziyaada milti hai aur mei 90% samaj sakta hu aur Isme boht Punjabi shabd hain Jo Hindi mein nehi hai. Aur Tu yahan keh raha hain ke Ye wali language tumhari se ziyaada milti hai. Kya bakwas hai.
