Wow what a great build! I am wondering how to get 427 CI from the LT2 block. The LT engine family has the same bore spacing as the SBC and LS. The only way to get to 427 CI in the past was stroking an LS or LT engine to 4.00 inches and installing taller siamesed bore sleeves ro allow a bigger bore. Some engine builders have built taller blocks like the LSX to make it easier to keep the bores and cooling stock and increase the stroke past 4.00 inches to reach 427 and greater displacements.
We're building this car in stages. The factory manifolds flow really well for this combo, there will be upgrades as we go. Little changes to log are important- instead of just throwing parts at it just to sell parts
@@boostdistrict Thanks! I'm just curious with the whole manifolds thing? It kind of feels like for most setups, purchasing either of the two (headers or intake manifold) is not really worth it.
I see you guys modifying the trunk to squeeze bigger engine and trans combos. You don’t need a trunk. You need displacement. Also how are you taking the front wheels offline. Pullling the fuse? 8.8
Is the crank in the 427 the same one Lingenfelter worked to develop with Callies? Sounded like it was a fairly unique piece and I know Lingenfelter sells their parts to other performance shops. Are you shooting for a lot more power on the engine? Turbos seem too big for the current power level.
It's a Callie's crank, yes. We're just getting started on power and are taking baby steps for now. There's going to be plenty of things to fight us in the track so we'll inch up, and clean up as we go
This is literally a Zora build before Chevy even announces it Nice work
Thank you for having me out Rosh, it was a great experience for sure. I look forward to future content with BD!
Thank you Michael! Feelings are mutual. Grateful for awesome friends 🤝😊
I watched the video, great job Rosh…you got the passion and you love what you do best.

I knew it had more! That was a big jump in power on that last pull haha. Killer job
Awesome video can't wait to see it at track ripping!! Almost forgot but I'd say it'll run 8.47
Really soon! 🚀🚀
Spectacular build!
Thank you 🚀💪
Like the zr1 making 1064 hp
Hope to see a eray during 2k roll race
So nice guys👌 great job 👍 Keep Hammering 💪
Thanks for the support!
28:22 how about operation give C8Nate a Supercharger or TT E-Ray kit?😂🙏🏼🤞🏼😏
Place that deposit and let's roll 😂😂
Can't wait to see what it does at the track! 8's are in the bag, question is how deep can it go with the way it leaves, that mph will be nuts!
It's never a "for sure" to have success but we'll definitely be trying hard to make it happen! Thank you for the support 🙏
Keep up the great content
Thank you!

Is that 427 build using stock intake and headers?

Rosh, How does your 427 differ from Lingenfelter's? I know you use their 2650 kits.
Hello! Did I hear correctly that you are partnering with GM on a project car?!!
🤫
I would say 8.70 @160
Getting power down will be a fun task 😈🚀
