I'm really enjoying your videos. Thank you very much for making them. I think of Kathy loves physics and Dr JK.

Law 2 isnt exactly true because of isotopes eg: deuterium in water

It is still true, it just did get expanded with our growing knowledge.

@@wolfgangkranek376 Not 100% sure of the point your trying to make but if your saying law 2 (Proust's law) has been replaced with a different law to reflect current knowledge then it's no longer law 2 - just like if newtons 2nd law of motion was found to be wrong and replaced with a new law it would no longer be newtons second law of motion it would be someone else' law of motion. If the new law is this : "The law of definite proportions dictates that the mass ratio of hydrogen in is constant: 2:18 or 11.11%. This means that 11.11% of the mass of water is due to hydrogen. " (what showed up when I typed law 2 updated) Then that's still not strictly true because the water could contain oxygen 16 or 17 or 18 and well as protium, deuterium or tritium. The only way it would be sort of true is if it stated "compounds contains fixed ratio's of atoms" then it would be still not be true because there exist non-stoichiometric compounds whose elemental composition can vary from sample to sample. Such compounds follow the law of multiple proportion. An example is the iron oxide wüstite, which can contain between 0.83 and 0.95 iron atoms for every oxygen atom, and thus contain anywhere between 23% and 25% oxygen by mass.
edit: my post makes me sound really intelligent but I stole it all from the internet 😁
