jakej277 I'm glad you're enjoying them. I tried liquid nitrogen a couple of weeks ago and was pleased they held up. Silvering them would take the fun away from seeing through the walls. Tip a pint for me, will ya?
jakej277 that's effing awesome. 5 degrees C makes a huge different between cold, refreshing beer and blehhh... I need to get my hand on one of these!!!

jakej277 Hi Jake, how much longer/better in performance did the double wall vacuum mugs do compared to the standard glass mug? Noticeably better?
It was about 5 degrees C colder after half an hour than a standard pint glass.

Curious, how is the oxygen removed?
I don't think they area vacuum sealed even thou the title says vacuum sealed
Where can I buy this glass?
Neat, wish they made them out of gorilla glass or at least did a potassium chloride ion exchange, they already used the kiln and everything!
What type of glass is that quartz or borosilicate. I'm a scientific glass blower as well...j/w...good work tho
looks like boro
you know it's boro when you can see the flame, it's doing fast work, and there's no quartz bloom all over everything
