Watched the video, loved it, went and bought 3 mugs! Very cool. What level of vacuum are these pumped down to?

jakej277 We hope you enjoy your mugs. The vacuum is approximately 10 mTorr.

I'm glad you're enjoying them. I tried liquid nitrogen a couple of weeks ago and was pleased they held up. Silvering them would take the fun away from seeing through the walls. Tip a pint for me, will ya?

jakej277 Hi Jake, how much longer/better in performance did the double wall vacuum mugs do compared to the standard glass mug? Noticeably better?

It was about 5 degrees C colder after half an hour than a standard pint glass.

jakej277 that's effing awesome. 5 degrees C makes a huge different between cold, refreshing beer and blehhh... I need to get my hand on one of these!!!

Neat, wish they made them out of gorilla glass or at least did a potassium chloride ion exchange, they already used the kiln and everything!

you know it's boro when you can see the flame, it's doing fast work, and there's no quartz bloom all over everything
