European Tour 2023 - Final leg, Belgium and France

Five thousand miles later and we are back in France! Poodled through Belgium and took in some of the WWI memorials and battlefields, all very sad as the more you see the more you appreciate the sheer scale of the sacrifices made and the number of lives lost on both sides. On into France where I managed to find a campsite within walking/cycling distance of two of the construction, assembly and launch sites for the WWII V2 rockets that were Hitler's 'Revenge Weapons'. Essentially we saw too much to film and read too much to narrate so all I can suggest is that if, hopefully, you do see something that takes your interest, then it might inspire you to visit at some point in the future. Failing that, then there's loads of stuff about the memorials, monuments and other sites on t'interweb . . . .
