12:06 quote of the pod “that’s an honor” 😂
Cracked me up too lol 😂
y'all definitely gotta do more of these episodes
We need more of this: 1:Many. I'm sick of filling in forms in any industry.
Please keep this content format up!!! Also maybe make it a playlist on your channel so I can binge them?
This was awesome! I love this episode!
Saturday morning pod let’s gooooooo!! 💪🏼💪🏼💪🏼
Wow it's Saturday 10:33 in the night here in India
Def need more videos like this
Brought to you by Bobby Housel himself, I’m one of your 5, regular, female listeners, and I thoroughly enjoy the pod and your guys’ humor. Don’t worry, I’ve got you covered with the “ladies understanding” and he wasn’t lying, I was jealous of the post MFM attention
@Therese Joffre you're a clown
My biggest takeaway from investing in college startups that I got from Sam...basically "I don't care if you get laid, as long as I get paid." That's the mindset of a DAWG!
Simplify is actually an insane business. I'd acquire it asap if I had the capital.
Transcribe Glasses could also be amazing for people with autism/audio sensitivies who prefer to process information visually.... great concept
Serious missed opp for Shaan to say "Earning is just learning without the L. And we don't like Ls around here"
This is great and all but can we get underdogs for f- sake.
I wanna see that Kid in a community college/dropout doing great things
Sorry to break it to ya but those “college drop outs” you hear making it big we’re ultra achievers they weren’t some slacker who decided to drop out and then made it big
@@levelup2014 Where did I imply they were slackers? My comment clearly flew over your head. My point was that I'd rather hear stories of the over achievers that went a different path. Work on your comprehension
Great point @Gideon.
@@gidd I was thinking this during the video but then I realized that it is just business. The reality is that the Stanford kids are just a better investment. The community college kids will have to do it all themselves or prove their value extensively. But yeah with all things equal I would rather not give my money to the children of elites.
@@jackmiddleton2080 that's actually not fully true. Read super founders
Thank you!
I like the CC glasses. Lost hearing in one ear and hearing aids won’t work. Cool idea!
Just started the vid, getting prepared for top ADCC Open Jiu-Jitsu here in Orange County CA. Started wit McGregor, I am not disappointed!
Yessirrrr, I love theseeee
Thanks for hosting me! Was an honor
Hey My First Million
Shoutout from Kenya
I just wanted to let you know that you are making a difference to us to some of the youth here. We have a lot of work ahead of us but I hope I get to one day pitch my startup idea to you and hopefully make my exit and join/start the MFM Kenya.
FYI Wanted to give you a heads up, VCs are setting there sights on Africa and Kenya is one of those places they are venturing into, look into it and thank me later.
What’s your website? That would be a start?
These guys are amazing :)) I wish I worked much harder when I was younger lol
Do more of these
I managed to miss a pitch schedule while watching this, hno hard feelings tho, worth the watch
I've used simplify, applied for 200 jobs
Way to go admityogi👏👏
That was dope
Still deciding between an 8Sleep mattress and 291 days of Chipotle...
54:42 Michael is awesome!
Let’s go!!
Somthing similar to the first startup by the Army - Tactical Communication and Protective System (TCAPS).
I shared the link, but they get auto deleted. They are actually pretty unreal. My unit at Fort Knox was the test unit.
Shaan and Sam, great thumbnail!
Do you do these Competitions often?
I would love to participate.
Also, do you guys invest? My app launches June. That right around the corner. Pretty soon I’m going full sale rep mode on my UA-cam and everywhere.
We would love to interview any of these bright minds
We'd love to help make that happen.
Reach out to me, my link is in the description
This was epic
Loved it
46:59 hilarious!
You had to be artificially intelligent to eat them.😂😂😂
Here's an idea:
A virtual classroom set in an exploration game where you can go and examine anything in the entire world and have an AI teacher of your choice teach you whatever you want. You would be able to go wherever you want to, nature, animal reserves, deep into the ocean, on top of mountains, walk directly into any type of workplace, interact with any and all machines or things, speak to anyone, and have either an AI explain whatever about the process that you ask about, or have conversations with for example leaders. Everything to teach you about anything.
You would also be able to venture into space via spaceship, shrink in size and interact with concepts as if it was a game.
I think this would be an incredible resource for humans to learn anything they want.
The essential part here is the possibility to apply gamification to all learning. Because for humans to be able to want to learn something, they have to play with it first.
This idea is too big for my selfish desires, as everyone deserves this for free. So please enjoy a free idea.
You're describing the metaverse.
That's a great idea!
Combine ...
Metaverse / Video Game / Education, All in 1.
“How to Steal Startup Ideas from Young Minds for Peanuts” 💸🥴
Ideas are like 5% of the work
Yes you 100% right!! This channel gives people talking points ! And ideas??? Perhaps!,🤔
I like transcribe glasses for instant language translation
Not sure if they asked AdmitYogi, but how do they avoid screencapture monkeys from reproducing app docs and reselling them?
"Our commitment against plagiarism
We upload each of the essays on our platform to an online plagiarism detection database. If you plagiarize a student's essay on AdmitYogi, it will be flagged & admissions officers will be notified. Our site is directed to find inspiration - not for copying others' work."
That mental health one is the most convoluted, cringe concept thing i’ve ever heard. No one wants to share their therapy videos with anyone other than their therapist. It would make your mental health worse. They’re gonna get sued to oblivion when things go south(videos leak, suicides etc). Only reason why they were able to raise money is being associated with Stanford.
I agree. Shaan’s suggestion of plugging into social media and stories would help; but most people don’t direct address to the camera
More money than sense, privileged the elites, while US becomes wracked with drugs/insanity/delusions of grandeur/megalomania.
Transcribe glasses going to be big
At 1:00:10 when he says "20 post" what did he mean?
Spoke to Rushil few months back
Primo, I mean premium episode
How can i pitch my Startup Idea ? Please help me i need funding 😢

Clearly Irons are SBS
President of India? That was the prime minister. That simplify one looks cool.
.
Applying for slavery should be a lot easier, simplify is the clear winner here
AdmitYogi exists, it’s called AdmitSee and I believe it was even started at Stanford.
Thats the Prime Minister of India 🤦♂
👍
Transcribe glass: How meaningful is the statement "bigger companies will do it better than you". Can't that logic be applied to everything? Facebook bought oculus which was started by a team that was once not dissimilar to transcribe glass.
Admit Yogi: I think Shaan is wrong saying it needs to be like Chat GPT. These are hard working people whose futures are on the line. If anything a GPT experience would hurt your business.
Candid: Confusing pitch. But you were rushed honestly.
Simplify: I have thought for years that someone could make a killing by outsourcing the work it takes to apply for jobs. Because it is something that really stands to benefit from specialists and templates. Like it really doesn't make a lick of sense for me to spend an hour researching what a particular tech company wants to hear when a company like simplify can just have that in a template. My vision was you just tell one company everything there is to know about you and the literal next step is answering the phone when an employer calls you. Since it can all be done at once it doesn't really make sense to me to have a subscription model. I think a tiered package model would be best.
$3500? 😂😂😂
I think thumbnail is not attractive, need to work on thumbnail guys
In this video, a group of Stanford University students pitch their startup ideas to a panel of judges in a competition with a prize of $3500. The first pitch is for an app that uses artificial intelligence to help people improve their posture. The second pitch is for a social media platform that connects college students with alumni mentors. The third pitch is for a website that allows users to rent high-end fashion items for special occasions. The fourth pitch is for a subscription service that delivers natural and organic skincare products. The fifth pitch is for a platform that connects job seekers with companies that prioritize sustainability and social responsibility. The video includes feedback and questions from the judges on each pitch, as well as advice for the students on how to develop their ideas and overcome challenges.
Is this America?? Two. Parties and no questions??? Sad that students trying and these guys taken advantage!!!!🤔 WHY
You are Stanford??? Why even consider this BS!! Either your smart enough to get in or not!! Just my thoughts with an associates degree!!! 🤔 I would rather have an associate degree than pretend!!,
