- This is the 3rd track of Daft Punk's album Random Access Memories, Giorgio by Moroder. I personally found Moroder's voice to be mood breaking so I edited the song and removed it from the beginning and the middle of the song. I hope you enjoy it.

In my opinion it should have only the part that he says "My name is giovanni giorgio, but everybody calls me giorgio" but it sounds really good!

I either want a song with singing or no vocals at all. Just talking is weird and mood breaking
its really just annoying starting the song and having to skip to 1 min to finally listen to the actual song

in my journey of music, at first I was naturally taken by the melody of a song. I just went with whatever tune I preferred at the time. these tunes are/were generally played by the solo guitarist or the keyboardist. as the years went by, I started appreciating all the work the bassist, players of wind instruments, string instruments, etc. put into making songs. kinda like the second line, less prevalent than the first, still very important to a given song. currently, I'm at the stage where I'm very much influenced by the rhythm of a song and became very interested in how percussionists contribute to songs and how the beat of the song, tempo breaks, speed changes, etc. can affect the mood and the overall enjoyability of a song. this song is the perfect example for this journey: it has a killer tune, sticks really well, the bassline is amazing, but my god, what the drummer is doing, especially in the second part of the song just blows my head off my shoulders. the sudden jumps in tempo, shifts between the different drums and cymbals, the general playfulness of the musician is like a very nicely cooked steak: you let it sit on your tongue before chewing it, toss it around on your tongue to make sure you get maximum flavours, then swallow slowly while blowing out air through your nostrils to catch any undertones of the spices used by the chef. I can re-listen this song any times, but I always pay special attention to the drums now. excellent job, Daft Punk!
Totally agree. You can only listen to the Morodor's intro so many times. Interesting but mood-breaking after a while.
