Can you react to league of legends burn it all down
There is a very good book about the Ruination Saga(quote Necrit: "This is basically the GOT of League") and also there are a few comics and short stories and bios on the official League website you can always dig in if lore interested but honestly: it is easier to just watch Necrit or TENEBRIX ;)
Besides, apart from the seasonal and music driven cinematics League have a bunch of lore driven cinematics and trailer you should definetly check out.
Regarding the star guardian one from 2019: you saw there one of the few official couples in League: Xayah and Rakan(corrupted star guardian version in this cinematic). I would recommend to watch their intrduction cinematic "Xayah and Rakan: Wild Magic | New Champion Teaser - League of Legends" and their joined voicelines "The Lovers - Xayah and Rakan quotes" to get a better grip of their relationship .Then watching the "everything goes on" music video will grip you harder and give a better understanding. The canon relationship is basically carried into star guardian universe.

The guy that smiled was Xpeke. Season 1 world champ.
He talked about how he knew that in the future people would get better than he ever was and that he looked forward to it.
Combine that with the song titel, "taking over" and the song is all about a "changing of the guard" so to speak as the older generation slowly retired.
I've seen and heard this song many times and i actually didn't know it was Peke. But hey, he resembles Kassadin, so ofcourse its him!

Yeah, Fire to the Fuse was unfortunately very underrated masterpiece. It came out just 2 days before Worlds and a lot of people didn't know it existed until after Worlds, which was very sad to be honest, considering the legend himself played it live on Worlds. But the marketing was overwhelmingly focused on Lil NasX's song, so it got buried somewhere, like a diamond in the rough. Definitely should check it! It also again has a player story, champions in the form of skins, and a brutally awesome song! :D
I would even add that he checks out the song as well as the performance done on stage for the finals. Absolute masterpiece from him.

The weapons used in this video are all weapons from previous world finals winners signature champions. He is running the gauntlet against previous world champion players and their signature champions. The final fight is against Tian, with his signature Lee Sin, from the 2019 world championship winners - FPX. :) The person helping him win is Faker, the GOAT.
'Breathe' is amazing if you've not seen it.
In fact there's a couple LoL comics that tell the story of a couple of characters, like Lux or most recently Katarina, and also there's a book explaining all the regions in lol, which I phisicaly have, and its sooo cool, but for youtube content i'd recommend reacting to necrit's videos, specially "The World of Riot's MMO is Already Done".

Every single person in the video is a player from different teams from different years of world championships, as the representations(using weapons) of the characters they played in final matches. Main character overcomes them all, rising to the leading world positions. When you watch songs for the Worlds, Hugh implication will be that it will be connected to real players, real games and so on.

MSI which is the smaller tournament, Mid season invitational, is happening next month is in London this year. The world finals rotate between South Korea, China, Europe, and North America which are considered the major regions.

Actually all the people in this music video are real players, except the main character and the girl. The plot is the main character is being trained buy Faker (the best League of Legends player of all time) to become the next champion. And during his training he is fighting all the previous world champions. For example the first guy with purple hand-blade is xPeke, the winner of the first Worlds in 2011.
Let me explain what is in the video:
0:47 Championship Leblanc Skin on a poster - this was a new skin for that year's championship. It is "coincidentally" also the signature pick of a person in the next scene.
0:51 We see Faker with his cat (He has T1 on his shirt representing the name of his team)
During the race there are multiple small easter eggs (Jinx on a shop sign, teemo on a sign, all of the licence plates on cars are League of Legends references)
Faker set up his cat to cause the guy to fall.
As Faker help the guy up, there is the Summoner's Cup (Trophy for the winner) on a sign in the background.
1:15 - The building we go into is called "The Demon King" which is Faker's nickname of sorts. We can also see Brocolli on the poster since he ate it after winning 2016 finals (It's often jokingly refered to as the secret to his superpowers)
Now we are onto the "gameplay"
Each scene has one Winner of a Worlds Championship - there is also the team logo in each scene helping to identify them.
1:49 - FNC logo on the sword in the left.
The player is Xpeke Toplaner of FNC and the star of that lineup. He is on his signature Kassadin pick
The blade our protagonist throws at Xpeke is called Doran's Blade - its one of the start of the game items you buy.
Nice catch on the smile - Xpeke smiled since he said that he knew that everyone that will come after will be better and better and he was excited to see it happen.
Onto the forest:
2:48 - There is Samsung White logo on a tree - they won the 2017 Worlds.
The player is clearly Mata - the Support of the team on his legendary Thresh pick.
3:52 - Here we cant even see the player but there is Invictus Gaming sign on a rock which means that the player is their Botlaner Jackeylove on Xayah. They are the 2018 Champions.
In the twitch chat we can see many legendary players and casters often saying their legendary line such as Phreak's "This is peak League of Legends"
3:59 - This is really hard to catch but there is Samsung Galaxy logo on a rock in the river - its only there for few frames. They are the 2017 Champs and we can see the shadow of Crown's Galio descending on the protagonist.
Next Scene we can see Taipei Assassins logo on the back of the rifle - that means this is the Season 2 World Championship and Bebe on Caitlyn.
After that scene we are no longer watching on Faker's screen and go back in detail - this is due to Faker being "in the game" - 4:50 we can see T1 Logo on the rock in the left. The player is SKT T1's jungler Bengi on Jarvan 2015 and the 2016 World Champion.
And we reach the final battle against the previous year's world Champion Fun Plus Phoenix's Jungler Tian - who was the star of the show in the finals. He is on his signature Lee Sin. The logo can be seen under the right arm at 5:31.

Because I don't think it's explained yet. He's fighting World's MVP's playing the iconic champion they won it with. The earlier comments on the video tell you which ones but for example, the first one is probably the most famous from the old days: Xpeke with Kassadin .. doing the "Kassadin Back Door" that he's known for.

the glasses dude is Faker from the group SKT T1, considered one of the greatest since he became a champion multiple times, basically a hyper carry. Players on his team changes and he's the only OG SKT left in the group, and every year he faces people who learns his strats to counter him. unlike back then when the only way you can do that is to watch replays, today you can even learn what spells and skills he takes and even runes so he wasn't able to win recently.

To answer a few questions:
They currently do an opening cinematic every year at the start of the season (start of a new year)
They then make a music video for worlds and anything besides that is bonus.
So this what you just watched is the music video for worlds 2020.
The opening cinematic for this year (2023), you can skip that one. Even Riot themselves said, it was not on par with their standards but they wanted to post something rather then nothing.
Also the last worlds song (2022) with Lil Nas was different. The league community for once agreed on something, the song was good, but not a worlds song. League worlds song have kind of their own genre and that one didn't fit the genre. Song was still really popular outside of league, it was on the radio, in stores etc. You will understand once you hear it.
my friend there was a marvel league of legends comic book series XD but it fell out sadly, there a book called "ruination" that is VERY good of league of legends, and riot forge doing a lot of games with league of legends stories, pretty recomend

YES THERE'S A BOOK OF LEAGUE OF LEGENDS CALLED "REALMS OF RUNETERRA" It contains the League of Legends lore about the places in the League of Legends world and it's cultures.
There's also a Novel called "Ruination" it's a really good story.
There's also a League of Legends marvel comics in the League of Legends Universe website
next week, MSI 2023 starts, it is a smaller international tournament that doesnt have as much production around it as Worlds
And of course Worlds 2023 is happening, this year it's gonna be in South Korea but rumor has it that next year it could be hosted in Europe again (it travels each year to a different region)

Faker can be commonly referred to as "the Michael Jordan of esports", he is widely considered to be the best League of Legends player of all time. He has won 10 League of Legends Champions Korea (LCK) titles, two Mid-Season Invitational (MSI) titles, and three World Championship titles. So yeaaaah he is like totaly goated. Worlds is held every year around the middle of fall, finals is usually at the start of november and they have always had an opening ceremony ever since 2013. Arguably, 2017, 2018, 2019 and 2022 are the best ones. Although 2022 gets far better when you have context on the players history. If you're interested in that, I've left a comment under your 2019 OC reaction with vid recommendations.
League holds another international tournament yearly by the name of MSI or Mid-Season Invitational. It's quite a lot smaller than Worlds but the head of LoL Esports released a video just today in which she states that she wants MSI to be a lot bigger this year. MSI starts on the 2nd of May this year, and guess what: IT'S IN LONDON.
Yep, that's right, Riot will host an event in the UK for the first time and so they've already released a banger theme with a UK artist called Che Lingo:

MSI finals have had real opening ceremonies since 2019 and this year's finals will take place on the 24th of May and they promised that this year would go way harder than any year before, so we'll see what they do about that.
Aqua from Hololive was supposed to cover this song for Worlds 2020 but unfortunately the whole China incident happened and everything got canceled. She recorded the song though and you can still find it on youtube.

You’ve said b4 you’ve realized you thought you lived in a house but you realized it was actually under a rock, you were absolutely shocked in the best way by Pentatonix, so here’s what’s probably the best thing you can listen to if you want to feel that kind of awe, wonder, and joy in music again (just different kind of music you can’t prepare for)
Listen to this band for yourself if not for the channel (even though I REALLY want to see your reaction, you should still listen even if you don’t do a video), you’ll be doing yourself a favor- Type O Negative: “Nettie” as a first time listener, or “September Sun” as a second choice for a beginner song. An excellent second time song would be “Green Man”. They also got tentative permission to do a cover of “Paranoid” from Black Sabbath depending on final approval after recording (which they got) and Ozzy loved it because he said it was like the song was a different side of the mind state the lyrics were depicting, so they kept the message, showed another side of it, and made it their own without taking anything away. Ozzy said he’d be putting it on his playlist at home. Both vocals and the quality of composition are shockingly amazing in all their music so ALWAYS use headphones (although they have at least 1-2 songs/album that are sort of joke tracks making fun of their own image as their perceived or the kind of fans they attract or whatever, but unless you can spot the irony or research the song you probably won’t get the joke). The only other thing I’ll tell you is that they were vastly under appreciated in the USA and you should listen to recordings or videos rather than live shows (they were still very good, and definitely great shows, but not the quality that’s so amazing) cuz the lead singer had crippling stage fright so bad he chugged down enough alcohol to go out and put on a great show… but his voice quality suffered from the nerves AND the alcohol applied to vocal cords minutes before singing.
A second recommendation would be Lacuna Coil “Enjoy The Silence”, again, doing yourself a favor whether you upload it or not.
I can absolutely promise you won’t regret it based on what you’ve liked in your other videos. Type O Negative is truly unique and there’s never been anyone else like them.

First of all yeah there is comics that Riot published. Some of them with Marvel actually. You can check Darius, Ashe, Zed, Lux and Katarina comics. They're short and beautiful. Especially Lux and Katarina. Also when you're videos are done there is a 3 whole albums for Pentakill. There is no video for them but songs are masterpiece. You should definetly listen them.

Fun fact; faker, the teacher, failed to qualify for Worlds 2020 despite generally being considered the best player at the time. As such, he is in the role of a teacher in this video, whereas in most of the previous videos he got a position of power (on a Throne in Ignite (which you haven't seen), as the final boss in RISE, one of the main characters in Phoenix, and later on a billboard in Burn it All down.

There are a ton of non--music cinematics you should check out as well ( the viewers from the music ones will show up for those as well :) ) But yeah those show case a ton of the wider world and chracters, there ARE comics, several and theyre free to read online for the most part. In their card game Legends of Runeterra they explore the wider lore covered by youtubers like Necrit ( he doesnt mind reactions at all). Their Wild Rift youtube channel also have cinematics and music videos (mobile version of league of legends)

You should really react to kin of the stained blade. It’s more of a story about characters, not a song, but it is still epic as fuck as usual with riot cinematics.
This was one of the years where Faker was not in Worlds, and that is who the red hooded person is.
The entire video talks about the new champion and how he surpassed Faker in faker's own eyes. Faker is one of the best players in the world, or was, but at this point he's starting to fall off and others are surpassing him. The years of 'FAKER, WHAT WAS THAT?!' are falling behind, and this was a year that Faker didn't even make it to worlds. The building he walks into is the den of 'The Demon King', which is one of Faker's nicknames.
Each person that the mc fights is another high elo player, from the best Thresh in the world, to the best Kassadin, best Xayah, etc. All the way up to the best Lee Sin, which has always been one of Faker's best characters.
Faker is insanely good still, he's still deserving of Challenger, but his throne has been dethroned many times and he's...become washed up. Burn it All Down is about the new 'Faker' of League, Showmaker, who is basically faker in his prime and actually considered better in every aspect of the game, and he's quickly been rising to fame as one of the best players in the world.

Jackson Wang's music video is very underrated, mainly because I think it came out of nowhere unlike the other songs, and it was made as a song for a skinline, so it got obscured by the usual worlds song of that year (the one from lil nas I think, it dragged attention because of the drama that it was too chill for a worlds anthem song).

The video is around the "way" you gotta follow to become one of the best and reach to the worlds finals.
The guy with a hood is Faker. To this day one of the best League players (who a few days ago fulfiled 10 years playing and still active).
Through the video our protagonist must face the top tier league players (in order of appearance: xPeke, Mata, JackyLove, Crown, BeBe, Bengi and Tian), after each battle the protagonist gets better and gets his defeated oponent's weapon (in case you didn't notice if he lose against his 2nd oponent, he must start from the begining). Once our hero reachs Tian (dude fighting with fists) he drops all his weapons since League of Legends is a game wich constantly evolves and you must adapt each day.
Finally he makes to the finals where he mets his antagonist (the girl from the begining) who also carries a medal (wich doesn't exists) damaged, wich means she also had a hard time to reach the top.
This is probably one of my favorites videos since shows how hard it's to make to the top and as you said, push you to force yourself and improves.
