1. Beginning spidey sense bit was hysterical 2. I had no idea spider silk was so powerful. That literally made me just go "whaaaaat" 3. You referenced fast and slow thinking systems (my psychology hero, Daniel Kahneman, practically discovered them)!!!! Lots of diverse information, solid video. probably my favorite so far. Awesome job!!
Haha frankly idk if anyone can definitely say they "discovered" implicit biases, but Daniel Kahneman was, for sure, the first leading researcher on them. If you ever get a chance to read his book, *Thinking Fast and Slow* I highly recommend it :) Talk to you soon!
Happy birthday! and since this is your first video this year, I guess new year too! Awesome video as usual, great way to start off the year. Can't wait too see what you have in store for the year!
For some reason I "activated" the oddball effect randomly. I was walking around the school yard talking to my friend when a soccer ball came flying towards me and, I simply transformed into James Bond and dodged it.
So... there really isn't much science in Spider-Man anymore. As of 2001, he was bitten by a radioactive _supernatural_ spider. Or a genetically engineered spider, if you follow the Ultimate continuity. His Spider-Sense has never really been explained, but as of 2015 is part of the supernatural side of his powers. His wall-crawling ability, in the mainstream comics, comes from an ability to alter the flux of inter-atomic attraction (electrostatic force) in-between his skin and whatever he happens to be touching. Unless he's knocked out, whatever he's sticking too will break before he comes off it. How does that work? No idea.
But then how do the hairs interact with the walls if he uses a full body suit which covers his hands ? i know this vid is 1 year old but i still wanna know.
This fast reaction it happened to me just once when was whatching horror movie Jumpscare happend then my reaction was Far away faster than my friend i did close my eyes then 1 second my friend screamed so then i realized was he that slow to realize 😎😎
oh wow thanks for replying. something that would be possible to make in the near future. something that follows physics law nothing that runs on unknown energy. maybe the one in code geass. The iron giant would be aewsome

I felt time was slowing down for 2 seconds.
When you've experienced 'the oddball effect'.

Really? Oh I guess ill have to check it out. Thanks!
Ok cool. Gonna try this @ home
Please...please do a video about the movie Lucy...that one was too much 'mambo jambo' to be true ^^
Not quite as cool as Game Theory's way of being invulnerable, and easier and most likely cheaper... but only stops bullets.
They should of done the goat thing with a pig
Science of batman or superman
this is cool
you forgot his superhuman strenght
omg am learning so much from this dude good perfecto excellento😃😃😃😃😘😃😃😃😃😃!!!!!!!
But then how do the hairs interact with the walls if he uses a full body suit which covers his hands ? i know this vid is 1 year old but i still wanna know.
I would assume since the hairs act on a molecular level that they are small enough to also go through the suit? i have no idea lol..
umm but wont they have to be much longer and like you know, straight to interact with the wall and create like fur or something?
no idea Dx
This fast reaction it happened to me just once when was whatching horror movie Jumpscare happend then my reaction was Far away faster than my friend i did close my eyes then 1 second my friend screamed so then i realized was he that slow to realize 😎😎
Woo first and awesome
bro just dam look at your eyes for a moment ever heard of a thing called sleep
What about his super strength
it's a goat
So what you're saying is, if I have sex with spiderman, much like hiv, I'll get spider powers?
That's what I got out of this too.
oscargortez Time to fuck spiderman
Ironically, there's a storyline where Mary Jane develops cancer from long term contact (sexual contact) with Spiderman. She dies from it.
metroidDD5 So... only fuck spiderman if I find the cure for cancer?
hahahaha :D
can you make a video about the physics of giant robot like mech style anime please?
do you have any specific mechs that you like?
JackSci The iron giant would be awezome
oh wow thanks for replying. something that would be possible to make in the near future. something that follows physics law nothing that runs on unknown energy. maybe the one in code geass. The iron giant would be aewsome
