Nothing wrong with a little bit of nostalgia from the '80s. These guys definitely look like the cousins of GI Joe. Glad you're able to get a deal on a handful of them to add to your collection with a little bonus as well.
Always love seeing these classic figures, even if it was from a line that wasn't very familiar to me from my childhood.

Hello Mike I never collected CORPS figures but I remember them hanging near the GIJoe figures when I worked for Toys R Us back in 1985-1993 ?
I worked there for about 7 years and maybe 5 months. Long time ago now, going back 3 decades+ and I enjoyed my job. Not many can say that anymore, at least I enjoyed the first 3 or 4 years there, then the company changed and screwed everyone's schedule and hours. After that it was just a job and most of us stopped caring about the store after that year. I cared enough to get the job done but the joy was mostly gone, so sad. And most of the good friends I had left that store. It's a carwash now. 😂
Sorry I dragged you down memory lane, I haven't thought about this in quite a while. Getting old I'm 56+ now.

Hey Tom, Thank you for the trip down memory lane. When the Toys 'R' us went global Australia got stores in 1991-1992 so because we started much later than the rest of the world the memories don't stretch as far back. Glad to hear you had a great time working there looking at all those amazing toys which are now vintage! Thank you my friend!!!

Fellow Aussie here I’m down in Melbourne. Anyway you quite amazed me doing video on the corp figures as like you I have memories of getting these and I never saw less of Joe like some my friends did instead I saw them like october guard for joe. Sometimes they fight along with joe or times against joe etc. You could say they were the Soviet Union for me because that influence me by movies of 80s I consumed. I remember getting these figures in Franklin’s super market for around 1.99 plus there fun. Anyway great video buddy and look forward seeing more of your corp collection and watch it develop and yes I’m a joe collector too

I have quite a few CORPS figures in my collection. I didn't buy any of them intentionally. They all just came in GI Joe lots I bought. I even have a couple vehicles.

Oh Mike! How are you my friend it's been a while. I loved the corps figures especially the 86 through to the naughties. I played for hours with the Star force corps figures as a kid and still love them today!

Its very cool you got Thrasher. You could get that crossover Transformer/GIJOE Soundwave that transforms into the Thunder Machine and pop him in it 👍💯
I have seen that thunder machine in this country and it goes for $200 AUD around 100 quid. Perhaps I'll pick it up on clearance!
@@UsualmikeTelevision Yeah it costs a bomb over here too. The HISS Tank Megatron has gone down a bit, but the Thunder Machine is something else in terms of awesomeness, even includes Ravage on a leash ! 😄
