Ghoulia has always been one of my favorites. I’m glad their redoing these, cause having them now gives you so much nostalgia. ❤
Originally, G1 Ghoulia Yelps 🍒 had kanekalon hair. The 2024 has saran hair, because kanekalon is discontinued in doll production.

Get a G1 Ghoulia 🍒 (Kanekalon)
NEXT...
Get a G3 Ghoulia 🎮 (Saran)
Between the two dolls, you can actually FEEL the difference! Kanekalon is a silkier, smoother feel to it. Saran is soft, but no where near the softness of Kanekalon!
Polypropylene hair - like 2024 Spectra will have ☹️ feels dry and brittle. It's very hard to brush.

My very first Monster High doll was a Wave 1 Frankie Stein ⚡ (still have her in the box). She just that special to me, and I don't want anything to happen to her! Frankie ⚡ will ALWAYS have a special place in my heart!
However, because I've been working on so many Ghoulia Yelps 🍒 , she's become my ghoul!
Frankie Stein ⚡ is my first, and you NEVER forget your first! Doesn't matter how many dolls you have! That FIRST one can't be topped (even if you bought a second one to replace)!
Omg that last part is so true my first monster high doll was Viperine (not sure on the spelling) and I was so unbelievably excited to get her 😂😂

I have never had a Ghoulia Yelps 🍒 in the box!
I have successfully restored 3 of the 2012 Re-release version of Ghoulia 🍒 and I have a complete outfit for a 4th Ghoulia 🍒 , when I find her!
I buy eBay "nudes" (they still have the green headband factory attached, so I don't know if they could be called "Nude"), so I can keep the price down.
Once bought, I go to work cleaning and repairing the doll. Then I go and buy her outfit, piece by piece.
I don't "Etsy" or do "OOAK" Dolls. I'm mearly RESTORING them to their former glory. I just hope the dolls I've saved, will (eventually) get good homes. Kinda hard to let them go, after all that work. Know what I mean?
How did you get her glasses to stay on without the clear thing around her glasses?

I got it early! They come out officially next month I believe!
