Good to see you being so enthuiastic and motivated, and meeting new people (Not to mention staying in touch with the old bunch). I can understand you'd be reluctant to change vans for a bit with all the work you've put into sorting your financials, Joseph. Look at it this way, once you've been out to see your daughter and with the channel (and you) continuing to grow, it may be you feel different, but we don't have to move in the same direction as our friends, just int he way that feels right for us!
loved the underwater filming, we look out at the water and maybe admire a sunset or sunrise but never give what's under the surface any thought, wow with your filming look at how alive the water is, rant on all you like and looking forward to more of these excellent videos to come

Hi Joseph, loving your new/old sport, not something I would ever do, looks V tiring and cold. How did the new wetsuit work out did you keep warm enough, what was the temp of water? 🤿
Thank you Helly. The new suit is very comfortable and it kept me warm out there. While I didn't measure it the water temperatures in the ocean surrounding Vancouver island float between 7.5-9.5 C or 45.5-49 F. Throughout the whole year. That being said it's pretty cold all the time, but also not crazy ice bath kinda cold. You could swim in it without a wetsuit and maybe that would be ok for a little while. Then again, once you dive down 5m or 15f you can feel a temperature drop even through the wetsuit. The deeper - the colder. All said the wet suit does a marvellous job. The only cold part of my body was my face and then eventually I did get cold feet and hands, but that was after being in the water for several hours.
Eye candy loved the underwater footage. The octopus looked mean. Quite a few things I have never seen before and I'm from the islands. You looked so tired yet so fulfilled, love seeing you happy. Like I always say , you sooth my spirit. Peace and light, stay golden
Thank you Joseph. That looked like a whole lot of fun for you all. My youngest son used to love being on, in and under the ocean, ( as did my late, middle son ), doing what you were. He has been ill with cardiomyopathy, which has been understandably tough for him. He lost one of his brothers 18 months ago, my middle son and his youngest daughter, at 13 months, 5 yrs ago. Hard seeing how life has changed for him. Enjoy Joseph. Life is so short and that saying has really kicked our family in the butt, much too often these last years, so enjoy every moment 👍 🌊🌞 💫 💦 🏊♂️ 🐟 🐙

Some of my most memorable times were snorkeling off the west coast of Ireland. I actually was blessed 3 years in a row to be able to snorkel with a wild dolphin every day of my vacation visiting my parents. I don't know why, but I have yet to properly go snorkeling here in the states. I'm curious what were those white things that seemed to be all over when you were snorkeling? They reminded me of a dandelion just as it's getting ready to disperse its seedlings.✌🏼
I LOVE snorkeling. When I hear those bubbles and the underwater sounds, I feel like I'm home. So much to see. Can't wait to see more with the new GoPro.
Wow! It's a whole different world underwater. I am an avid swimmer, but we only have freshwater lakes here around Minneapolis. Snorkeling in the ocean makes me feel like the Little Mermaid. Great camera work, and really nice editing & narrating. Top notch quality video, Joseph! You captured the experience really well.

Love it man!! I currently live in Maui and have been scuba diving for about 15 years now!! I love the ocean have dived the Great Barrier Reef, Mexico, Bahamas I have a 150 gallon reef tank in my house!! The ocean is just amazing be careful out there and hope to see more of these!!

The water was so clear. The video so beautiful. I follow other UA-camrs who scuba dive rather than free dive, but they go looking for missing people. That water is so dirty sometimes they can't really see where they are going. This was lovely. The diving opens whoke new chapter, doesn't it?

Brilliant new content and video. Thoroughly enjoyed it. If you want a float for the camera they make floating selfie sticks. They also make a lens filter for the underwater housing (or they used to), its red and makes the underwater colors more vivid.
