That saying all that glitter isn't gold, I understand now because lots of shimmery fabrics with sequins, beading, feathers, ruffles, rhinestones, it just was not put together to be really pleasing to the eye runway. I kind of was over it by 7:02 and then the glass crystal bodice appeared and shone a much-needed light to the runway. I like the top corset portion but not the satin skirting it haute couture so I guess it doesn't have to make sense here. It could be after just seeing the Ellie Saab runway, that it would take a lot for any other runway to impress that tried for the same vibe.
Loved the various textiles, textures and colors. The use and combination of those are Exquisite!!! Exactly what HAUTE COUTURE is about!!! BRAVO!!!
