There is no such thing as a one thousand five hundred dollar bill in the US. There are either one thousand or five hundreds. While there may still be some of both in circulation (still considered as legal tender), the US no longer issues bills greater than one hundred dollars. It would have been better to state the total dollar amount of the money stolen than to refer to bill denominations.
