In the first 80 days on my journey from the North to the South of Maldives, I have traveled to all 14 inhabited islands of Haa Alif atoll. In this video, I would like to give a brief overview on the former and current status of fisheries in Haa Alif atoll.

So sad to learn, that the old ways are dying out! I still believe, that there is a sustainable way of fishing, feeding the population of 3 - 4 nearby islands on a daily basis. Coordination & communication are the keys.
