I agree with some of the previous comments about Kevin playing the guitar. The pre-recorded track should allow him more eye contact and interaction with Jackie, who sings like an angel and probably leaves swaths of wilted flowers on every path she travels.

This is NOT a Chris Stapleton song ! Write by Dean Dillon and Linda Hargrove in the early 1980s first tossed to George Strait but he turned it down. First recorded by David Alan Coe then covered by George Jones. Chris Stapleton took it and blused it up
Well, whether he playin this guitar or not I can't say. Not everyone can sing this song like Chris Stapleton does but this guy can sing this song and so can she!! Chris ain't got too much on these two. Good job!
He's not, or at least he's not playing all that you are hearing anyway. They are singing to a back tracking (where are the drums?) and if you go to where the guitar solo comes in at around 2:58, he is initially still using a strumming pattern with his hand playing multiple strings at once, when the solo itself is picking style playing single notes or strings. Oh and Chris has plenty on them both too, even though that are decent singers at the very least.

I won't even begin to try to differentiate one style of guitar playing from another for obvious reasons but I stand by my comment with no apology regarding the singers which I believe are better than decent. I'm decent lol, they are quite special in their own way. Just as Chris is in his. Sure he's more polished than this couple and this is his song. He is a pro they are not, but their voices compliment one another very nicely in my opinion as in many others in the comments lol. Yeah, this boy can definitely sang; even this song.
