I voted for Biden, so no hate here, but cutting poverty by failing to accurately update the poverty line doesn't actually cut poverty, it only sweeps it under the rug. If someone cannot afford food without food stamps then what is that if not poverty? 50 million Americans qualify for food stamps with 42 million currently on food stamps. Poverty is going up in the US, not down. The child tax credits was helping tremendously but that is gone (killed by Republicans.) Don't get me wrong, absolutely vote for Democrats over Republicans.
