But if your budget is a gold-plated CZ piece then the chances are you shouldn’t even consider that style of jewelry. You can’t really put CZ and gold-plated metal in the same category as moissanite and regular silver.

I have had many custom pieces that were 22kt and I think buying real gold and diamonds is overrated. You take the risk of someone wanting to steal it, damaging it, or simply losing it. All we wear it for is the color in the peacocks tail, style. Hell, hell real rich people Stash the real stuff not show it off. When you had the real especially custom stuff and need to sell it ant pretty. With good/real costume jewelry it seems like a more sensible investment. I will never lose thousands of dollars from the deal.
