He has far far too much knowledge that is unfortunately, extremely finite with less and less people looking for an apprenticeship where you could work under what I would call "a good old boy" who not only has a brain packed with the knowledge of many a man before who each have added the results of the rights and wrongs from 1000's of jobs and projects, they have a lived a life and made their way and usually don't have anything to prove, a byproduct of this also means because they have had to deal with many people with different abilities to learn and can explain how to do something as if you were a child but never make you feel like a child.
Yes! I couldn't agree more with this! Side questing is all nice and well, but you gotta get back to the main story eventually. Why delay the inevitable?
All of it is his main story not just this. All of it is mixed with one offs and some to never be revisited again, learning new things for the sake of learning or just to try have the biggest effects in life and can be the most impactful. Glad to see him doing so many new things since most don't and I'm glad to see these so-called side quests and to be a part of it even if it's for the views.
I think this is Jamie's best editing yet. I've been doing editing for a few months now and it's time consuming and difficult. He's got some serious talent and makes the most amazing pieces. Alec make art from steel, Jamie makes art from media, reminds me of the editing of wyrmwood

Alec, I started watching your videos a couple of years ago. I never imagined I could become a blacksmith but you inspired me to try. I made my first twisted handle dagger over the weekend. It came out great! Thanks for being an inspiration to people everywhere!

I said "high carbon steel edge", which is the same as saying "monosteel edge" in this context. Also, I can't believe I'm having to defend this.

Alec's one-offs and short series (especially during the time with Will) are generally excellent, but it's the long series on masterpiece-level items that make this channel truly great. Can't believe it's been so long since the viking sword!
