Thanks for posting this very good company to hang out and talk to people there and the area is just like one of the best areas the only thing that sucks about the area is that the precinct is right down the street otherwise it would be a great area but nevertheless that's why I buff the fire department and not the other ones but great putting this on there I appreciate it thanks always trained with them with 18 engine when it was 18 engine and back in the 90s as an auxiliary man
On one of our old trailer ladder trucks if you let the clutch out too fast it would break the u-joints and the drive shaft would drag on the street or break loose completely.
FDNY is obviously in New York, New York which is has a high pedestrian density as well as traffic. It’s just standard procedure for the crew to clear the road and sidewalks beforehand to ensure safety and that the rig has a clear way out of the station.
