Victoria is so right. Even after 2yrs of Carnivore, my family still says "you mean no vegetables" or "not even a small piece of cake/pie/something sweat" during the holidays when I visit. My oldest daughter has thyroid issues, and I can't get her to go carnivore (she has thinning hair and just about everything Victoria mentioned), my daughter has however gotten rid of sugar, bread and quite a few processed items, just cannot prove carnivore is the way. My wife of 30 years has had hormone imbalance issues for as long as I can remember that she refuses to take meds for, but not willing to go carnivore (I have gotten her to remove quite a bit of process junk, just not all). I continue pushing (not forcing) to the misses, both sons and all three daughters, I always tell them to just look at me to see what carnivore has done for my health. Due to carnivore, I have lost 100lbs and no longer take any prescription meds and vastly improved to the point I no longer need a cane to walk (misdiagnosed for 3 days cerebellum stroke at 44).

It’s very hard to convince people because they have been told the wrong info for so long, it’s ingrained in them. When I first started Carnivore, only about 8 weeks ago, I had a hard time eating fat, even though it tastes so good. I’m eating it now and loving it! The government and the media are making us ill. If your family sees how well you are getting they will do it, but probably only if they get desperate enough and really need to heal.

Stay strong 💪🏼 stay the example.
Lastly, I once heard a woman say something like, “stop trying to grow plants in a season they weren’t meant to grow.” I think about this from time to time when I want to help ppl. Just know the day will come when the time is right. ❤❤❤ God bless

The hardest thing I'm dealing with in life is loving those i love more than they love themselves.😢
You can take a horse to water my friends but you can't make it drink. Boi I've had to learn that lesson the hard way.
Sometimes we just have to let go and allow each other to reap what we sow.

For 17 years I went to all kinds of doctors trying to find out what was wrong with me. I had so many seemingly unrelated, crazy, debilitating symptoms, but all I was diagnosed with was fibromyalgia. A friend of mine read a book called, ‘Thyroid Power,’ and told me to read it. She said she thought it was my thyroid. I read it, and went to my doctor and told her. She didn’t think so because my TSH was at the right level. I insisted, saying you haven’t made me well! So, reluctantly, she sent me to test my antibodies. Lo and behold, I had Hashimoto’s thyroiditis! When I think about losing so many years of my life when I had a diagnosable disease, it really makes me angry. Along the way, I developed many other autoimmune diseases, chronic pain, and other health problems, which I am now working on through the Carnivore Diet. I finally have hope that I can heal, at least to some extent.

I'm not in politics or law, but I'm working on a social work degree. I firmly believe this is a social justice issue. Everyone should have freedoms and access to the proper human diet, namely real animal meats. My advocacy effects will include increasing rights for farmers (not industrial) and better information and access to undeserved and impoverished individuals and families.
Without a medical degree, I rely heavily on quality research and doctors like Dr. Chaffee for the scientific backing.
It's going to be an uphill battle, but people deserve the opportunity to heal, prevent diseases, and live optimally.

@@lulumarie7 perfect, another great idea! Hopefully you can get more people to do the same! We need to public to know their option of food lifestyles and know the risks of eating a heavy plant based corrupt diet like SAD/ Western, Vegan, and vegetarian diets! Everyone needs to know health benefits of carnivore and for some low carb keto and ketovore - then let them choose as you said. The myth thay cholesterol being bad needs to end, the banning of vegetable oils needs to occur, warning labels on processed foods needs to happen, warning labels on plant produce needs to occur as well- such as natural plant toxins and health issues that could occur- ban labels grown “meats”, redo “health” guidelines and food pyramid. Outlaw woke left democrats from being members of “health” organizations and no more allowing plant food industry to buy into “health” organizations. Redo the medical curriculum so not designed by organizations like woke left 7th day Adventists! Ban schools from pushing the woke left democratic “no meat” and “vegan” days on humans under 18! It takes 2 - 2 1/2 GALLONS of 10% butterfat Nigerian Dwarf goat milk to get 1 lb (16 Tbsp) of butter. It's not cheap to make highest quality butter, cream, milk, cheese. Thinking about doing more foraging time with them, getting myself a really comfy canopy chair & projects to work on while they eat free organic food. Would be great to be able to do a real paid job while supervising rotational grazing. They're not happy away from the barn area unless someone is with them. They're needy & social like puppies. But more useful lol.

In terms of kidneys, I struggled a lot with carnivore at the start because of high sodium and low magnesium, low potassium, I would get kidney pain and lipoedema due to my right kidney struggling after about a year in. I don't add salt to any of my meals and supplement magnesium and potassium now, there is salt in my butter and that is my only salt source, I never add. You get used to this btw, it's not as bad as it sounds.
If you have kidney issues I100% recommend being careful with salt, that is a huge stressor for my kidney.
Also, my kidney has gotten much better after I found my equilibrium on high fat (lots of butter) carnivore, and can handle more salt than it used to be able to!
Sometimes I get lipoedema when I eat carbs again, sometimes not, but I also get think there can be a little bit less stress on my kidney due to the hydration effect of carbs, it's a bit of a mixed bag.

I would lose a day to these and it was always after consuming some sugary treats. Interesting and accurate observation by Dr Chaffee at the 12:30ish mark, when he talks about the solidification of doctor's thinking in and after med school. My last two, and current doctor are not terribly up to date with nutritian nor diets beyond the food pyramid. Took myself off of statins. I got on the carnivore diet to fight inflammation. It has helped a great deal with that. However I've lost weight, which isn't all bad, but too much of it has been muscle mass. My actual weight has never been a concern as long as I was active in sports. Muscle weighing more than fat, I want to reduce body fat now and not so much concerned with my weight. The cows where infected and when you eat the meat chances are you get it too. It has sometimes 40 years incubation period. Others get it very soon!
The Brirish government tried to hide it back in the days when the meat, cows where infected.
1 girl was vegan and ate 1 hamburger and got it! She got more and more anxiety and her eyes looked more and more scared. The doctor and father put her in the psychiatry and it got worse and worse, with medication until she died. The autopsy revealed in her brain Kreutzfelt Jakob syndrome aka mad cow disease.😢
So please, even if carnivore is healing, do not forget nature is unforgiving.
All kind of worms, parasites, fungi protozoa and so on can get you. They are everywhere, also on plants, crops, soil, meat, organs, etc.

I've heard him mention Thomas Seyfried and his research for how a low carb diet can starve cancer cells because they can't feed on ketones.

I am yet to hear of anyone who has hyperthyroidism (particularly Graves Disease) and doing Carnivore. I hear so so much about Hypo/Hashie's and the positive results.

I have antibodies for both. Was diagnosed with Hashimotos 10 years ago but always had normal thyroid levels. Started carnivore a couple of years ago and within three months of it I was super hyperthyroid with a TSH of 0.01 and sky high T3. I had both high TPO and Trab antibodies and was given a diagnosis of Graves’ disease. I don’t do sugar or bread whatsoever and I have to be careful with iodine intake.

    Hi 🙂
I'm French and am in a medical nightmare since 14 years. Crohn, 3 cancers, PTSD...
I began carnivore 3 weeks ago after 3 months of research and I am thrilled by the results so far.
I have one question : since I don't have my thyroid anymore (cancer) , what effect on my thyroid hormones will carnivore diet have ? Do I need to check those hormones more often (in order to adapt my thyroxin intake) ? By the way, doctors told me that without thyroxin intake I would die, but they lied so often that I doubt and try to double check everything they say. Is it true ?

It also occurs to me the possibility then it may be caused by some chemical in her shoes or clothing

Unfortunately my thyroid numbers are not consistent as I still have one nodule left to get rid of. I'm also on a compound medication T3/T4. I started doing carnivore about a year ago. My diet consists of: one Carnivore Bar and pork rinds (for crunch) in the morning. Then in the evening I will have boiled eggs and either meat, poultry or fish for dinner. I will have dandelion root and ginger tea about an hour after dinner. I may have an uncured bacon stick and/or a few pork rinds as I oftentimes still feel hungry. I haven't been eating any carbs e.g. potatoes, vegetables or fruit. However, I did read that the thyroid does need carbs to function, so I bought some avocados the other day and had one last night. Obviously this really isn't necessary as Victoria has been getting good numbers with a strict carnivore diet. These days it can get pretty frustrating. I will try not eating pork rinds, avocado, uncured bacon and do without the teas. Hopefully doing a cleaner carnivore diet will finally bring about better numbers.

oh! I just read a comment above... someone had said her daughter had thyroid removed, and was still being monitored for a growth on one side - did carnivore...( can't remember how long)... sonogram now shows growth has completely gone.
I've got to get back to it! straight carnivore (6 months in, a few indiscretions occurring, cheese, wine!)
