It's an ecological hotspot and very well preserved having dense forests, lakes and numerous waterfalls. These places are not commercialised unlike Kerala, Karnataka, Goa and other tourist destinations.They were never publisiced by government as tourism was never a priority in Maharashtra.

Just got back from कास पठार, ठोसेघर waterfall and एकीव waterfall are nearby and worth visiting, also, चाळकेवाडी has windmills and some breathtaking views …very beautiful and scenic beauty of Kaas Pathar and surrounding areas…. a must visit 👍
Thank you for visiting my hometown...as usual beautifully covered. There are few spots that you could have covered like Kumodini lake in kaas plateau, 4 bhinti in satara city, 12 motachi vihir. Surprisingly Thoseghar waterfall and chalkewadi wind farm is missing but great vlog.

Kolhapur is historical place here also PANHALA is hill station there are banglows of ajay devgan ,Lata Mangeshkar,Marathi a lot celebrity's here is also, like kaas plateau here is masai plateau where padmavat movies set was .also Marathi industry in Kolhapur... Kolhapuri chappals,mercedes city in आशिया कोल्हापूर if you visit PANHALA, kolhapur then you feel there is no other places in the world...if you see PANHALA fort then you feel you are in heaven...so come and enjoy

We visited Kas pathar few days back. We had lunch at Heritagewadi. It was very tasty and authentic. My daughter is your biggest fan and forced us to have food at Heritagewadi. Happy visiting the place.
