    Proud of young man who took a stand and sued his biological father who used his son's social security number to pay his bills over many years. This young man was smart prepared and was telling the truth. His father lied through his teeth and had no remorse. It's his loss as the son will never trust him and he caused permanent damage to their relationship. Good decision JJudy!

    Landlords got completely screwed with covid. There was no protection for them whatsoever, all the protection went towards renters, and a whole lot of deadbeats looked at it as a golden opportunity to not pay rent, even though the owner was still expected to pay. It was not fair at all

    I would never go to Judge Judy she decides the case before she comes out

    • @VioletWings1353
      @VioletWings1353 Місяць тому +6

      Every judge reads all the documents submitted to the court before the case is heard. Judge Judy does the same. She's actually stated multiple times during hearings that she's changed her mind about cases after hearing from either the plaintiff or defendant during the case. Her decision about a case isn't set in stone until the end of the hearing.

    • @dionreed7325
      @dionreed7325 Місяць тому +2

      No she doesn’t both plaintiff and defendant writes on whatever they are asking for and why. Her decisions based on what you tell her in a sworn statement and she pokes holes in each statement by asking serious questions. So yeah don’t go there she will outsmart you

    • @isaacmolefenyokong7776
      @isaacmolefenyokong7776 Місяць тому +2

      Well sort of... but that's not the ultimate factor.. you might win her to your side in the presentation of the facts. The assessment of eveidence is more civilly-driven in small claims courtrooms, much more open to the appreciation of civil relations including personal charecteristics as reflected in a case's events...
      More often, once the events make sense in terms of truth, people's apparent characters influence her decision beforehand, as she reads the claims and responses very religiously. Part of what she does is to deal with human stories and follies in her administering of justice. And it is justice.. 😊

    • @norma5044
      @norma5044 Місяць тому

      That is because after 50 years on the bench she has heard all the stories. However after testimony things do come out that changes her mind. She is very fair .
