Landlords got completely screwed with covid. There was no protection for them whatsoever, all the protection went towards renters, and a whole lot of deadbeats looked at it as a golden opportunity to not pay rent, even though the owner was still expected to pay. It was not fair at all

She's actually stated multiple times during hearings that she's changed her mind about cases after hearing from either the plaintiff or defendant during the case. Her decision about a case isn't set in stone until the end of the hearing.

More often, once the events make sense in terms of truth, people's apparent characters influence her decision beforehand, as she reads the claims and responses very religiously. Part of what she does is to deal with human stories and follies in her administering of justice. And it is justice.. 😊
