🌴 there’s just something about sight fishing that gets the heart thumping , seeing the fish , making the pitch to it and then watching them come in and attack it , and then the fight begins , and if your lucky you get to see them for the release that red was beautiful, nice catch bro , 👊🏼✌🏼

Great video as usual. Finally gave wading a shot at fort de Soto yesterday. Had some luck with trout. Any general areas of Tampa bay that are good spots to explore for wading? Very intimidating walking out away from shore when you are not 100% sure what depths you are approaching haha.

Nice one! I see you've been rockin that Zodias for a bit...How do you like it? Been thinking about getting one for throwing sub-1/8 ounce baits like superlight ned rigs on 6# braid...
Zodias is probably one of the lightest rods in its class! I’ve fished with them for years and no corrosion issues
Nice beautiful red! What type of rod would be great for a shimano stradic 3000xg or 2500? I might put it with 15 pound power pro braid!
I would recommend using 10lb braid. It’s all you need for 2500 or 3000 size reel. It’ll cast better and you can always go heavier on the leader like 20-25lb flouro.
As far as rod wise there are a lot of good options out there like st croix avid 7ft medium 6-12 or a st croix triumph 7ft medium. The new curado rods are nice too and you can’t go wrong with the Zodias. You’ll have to go to the tackle shop and pair up the reel with one of those rods and see which one you like!

It’s a Shimano Yumeya knob!! Super comfortable to fish with in my opinion!

Simms gor-tex! But I would check out the simms tributary’s they’re great for the price. They’ll outlast frog toggs

They’re the Simms G3 waders. And the wading shoes are simms zippy booties. I would definitely go a size bigger in the wading boots since they run small. I would go to your local tackle shop to try them on before making the purchase! Check out the simms tributary’s those nice too! Reasonably priced
