They are amazing!! This video was awesome I hope there is a video of free routine as well. It looks sooo different than how it feels to swim it!! When you walk out and get into position your heart is racing and it's hard to focus on getting breath then suddenly the music plays and you're diving in... the chlorine burns your eyes at first but you get used to the sting later on. The pool feels so big and unfamiliar to your practice pool but you have to make effortless quick transitions exactly on count, despite all your vision being a blur. After being underwater for a part you're dying for a breath... but when you come up you have to maintain a smiling face and breath through your mouth awkwardly. Not to mention, in camera it looks as if they are about 1 foot away from each other, but in reality it's a mere 2 INCHES. Many people don't think about the fact that these athletes have never swam here - it's a BRAND new pool and everything is different! Almost everyone respects and focuses on the grace and difficulty of choreography but not on the experience of being in a very deep, unfamiliar pool with no googles and a dozen of judges watching your every move, not to mention being on national television with millions watching you. Just a new perspective to look at when you see synchronized swimming! Thanks everyone for respecting these incredible athletes!! Sorry that was long, - your fellow synchronized swimmer

No wonder that they have now frantically changed the rules so that the other nations can also win for once. Sad and unforgivable, a betrayal of all fans of the sport!
