If your adapter is not going to monitor mode , run this command sudo airmon-ng check kill Note - This commands kills all your network interfaces , after after running this command do all what Alexis says. when your done . reboot your pc , everything gets back normal

I just have a question regarding wifi attacks. Since most of wifi network nowdays using WPA2 key as their authentication (this is real world, rarely I have seen networks using WEP or WPA or WPS any longer), is there an efficient way to crack WPA2 password ? My card is 1070ti and it takes me like a week straight to crack WPA2 8-letter-only password even when using GPU power (200-300k hash/s). Would it be true if I am saying its not practical, or even possible, to crack WPA2 password unless you can spend a week or even month to run decryption for a regular hacker (excepts for rich kids with a bit coin mining rig) ?

The problem is due to not terminating the process created , simply restart to work.
