I'm not him but I think it's because the wave was frozen under enemy tower so trynda couldve just ran him down if he stayed and denied cs, if he recalls with 1200 gold worth of items more it's much harder for trynda to run him down as he's buch stronger than the 3 long swords tryndamere has. 400 gold is like 2.5 waves if he gets every minion and he would've probably missed a lot of them from the freeze so he would've been stuck for at least 4 waves barely csing
