- The Apple MagSafe Wallet was a product I bought just to show on cases when I review them, never intended on using it until recently and I wish I used it earlier! Sure it has its shortcomings when it comes to the Apple Wallet but once you open up to MagSafe wallets in general, there are some solid ones out there that does the job perfectly!

The casemate holds 3 and is essentially the same design.
I've been using this "Contacts" brand wallet/keychain for two months now and I love it. It has spots for six keys (you could probably do more) plus a car key and has space for four cards and a little side pouch that I use to put my building's entrance fob in, all comfortably. I really think that combining the things you leave your house with all the time is the best. For me, it's phone, wallet, keys. Keys can be organized with a stand alone organizer but adding the ability to put cards in for a little extra space is efficient and removes the need to bring a wallet when I put most of my cards on my phone digitally. Got three credit cards, a debit card and three other digital ones on my phone. I think two cards would be rough to manage with the magsafe tbh. Maybe in the future if IDs go digital it will be alright but that may have some separate privacy and ethical concerns attached.
I’ve been using this wallet as well. Able to have 3 cards in there. License, debit, and credit card. Looking forward to what other magsafe wallets you’ve tried as I’d like to carry 5 cards as well.
Yeah I'm still ordering some but I think I have the best of the best that's out there right now.

Great review. The “find my” function just records the phone’s location at the time the wallet is detached, so you know where you left it. There’s no independent tracking device in the wallet.
I have the apple leather wallet and at first I wasn't convinced but it grew on me. I used the find my option a lot too lol I'm pretty clumsy so it helps. Honestly realized I don't need half the things I used to keep. Credit card, gym pass and licence.
Yeah when you cut down the wallet size, you start to realize that you don’t need that much on you card wise.
I’m thinking of returning mine. Does the find my feature actually help? It’s not like it makes a noise alerting you where it is. That would be neat.
The pop socket wallet with the pop socket is nice didn’t think I would like as much as I did. Can get the pop socket experience without ruining a case and the cards come out easy and holds 3 cards
Yeah it’s a solid choice and will for sure be on the list. The magnet is strong on it also which is very good for the wallet.

Bro this thing has been life changing for me. I went straight from the big thiccun to this and I’m more comfortable throughout the day, I know where my wallet is all the time and it actually make the phone more comfortable to use.
I can’t really use the ridge style of wallet because I keep so much shit in my right front pocket and my left one is solely for my phone. I don’t want to have that plus keys, lighter, and pocket knife in one pocket. This is perfect because i can put it in my pocket without damaging my phone.
This is my favorite wallet for my work day. All I really need at work is my drivers license and a card in case I’m somewhere that doesn’t do MagSafe. The Apple MagSafe wallet is perfect for my use case!

I just got my magsafe wallet, generally I need 4 minimum. 1 payment card (in case they don't take apple pay) My Driver License, my CHL for my home state, as well as the CHL for my neighboring state (I live less than 3 miles from the border). Going to see how this works out for me. Love your videos, man!
I personally use a Uniq Lyft, which holds two cards and is a 3 way stand. Also love it because I can access my cards without removing the wallet off my phone. Also tempted by the ESR halo lock wallet if it allows me 3 or more cards. I’m just worried it won’t fit on the 13 Pro because of the larger camera bump to body ratio. I’d recommend covering both these - Uniq Lyft and ESR halo lock wallet, as they are wallets and utility as well as a stand. When you cover these, can you show the fit on the 13 Pro as well along with the Max you use? Thanks and keep up the great reviews.

Hadn’t heard of either the Uniq Lyft or the ESR halo lock until now. I’ve been using a Spiegen Smart Fold wallet because I like and use the stand a lot. The ESR is a pass for me because the cards are on the outside of the case and exposed when the stand’s not in use. The Uniq hides cards like the Spiegen one I’ve got and I’m gonna take a deeper dive into that one and maybe get it. I’m not looking to be flashing my cards and license all over the place. Discretion and functionality.

I love this wallet too. Been using it as a stand alone wallet and also on my s22 ultra. I carry my debit card and 2 other cards that I can't make digital. License, health care and most loyalty cards are now digital
Nice. Yeah I need to see if more of my cards are digital because that will help also but I’m sold on MagSafe wallets right now.
This is me with the MagSafe pop socket it’s amazing snap it on when I need it and off when I don’t
I’m using one as well in midnight. It works amazing and I have my license, health care (Ontario) and 1 CC, they fit very well. Two CC’s and just my license is very very tight. Using with the matching Apple leather case and I have never had it fall off.

I use the apple wallet and I have 3 cards in it: my ID, my Apple Card and my debit card. I have to place the Apple Card in the middle because it’s too smooth and having it be the last one makes it hard to take out. The wallet has definitely expanded giving more room to the three cards I always use though. I mostly use my phone to pay now so I usually never need other cards.
Yeah I might have to either break the wallet in or move some cards around because when I do 3 it’s very tight.
Recently purchased one because I was targeted in a parking lot and was almost robbed while carrying my bag. I strongly believe if I wasn’t carrying a bag that day, I would of been left alone.

How does it compare to the ESR wallet? Also, do magsafe wallets work with MagSafe chargers? I’d think that you have to take the wallet off to charge your phone.
For me, I mostly want the wallet for my work security badge used to get into the building, and for my main credit card since not every place I shop accepts Apple Pay.
I would like the wallet to double as a stand though. That would be very convenient.
I also use the Spigen MagSafe wallet/Stand it’s sweet when at work watching UA-cam videos

Hey man great review! I am contemplating getting this wallet. Only concern I have is, I am used to putting my phone in my back pocket. Wondering if the wallet will come off while sliding it in to the pocket. Especially when wearing slimmer fitting jeans? Any experience with this scenario?
I don’t have experience wearing tight jeans, but the wallet stays on just fine. My only problem is when I buy lunch and my hands are full I sometimes don’t have a free hand to reconnect them, so I put one in one pocket and the other in another pocket. Have to remember to reattach later.

I love mine! It’s refreshing not having to carry my phone and wallet! I got the new one and I can hold my debit card, favorite credit card and DL. Never going back to carrying a wallet again!
I got a similar MagSafe wallet from DistilUnion, but unfortunately, I don't like it. It's not like their former wallet, which also served as a case. So for the last several weeks, I've been keeping my MagSafe wallet tucked away in my car. It has two credit cards and a driver's license. Most places I shop now accept Apple Pay which is on my watch. I rarely have to show my license, and I have a scanned copy of it on my phone. So the only time I'll carry my wallet on the phone is when I'm traveling. Everything else I need is in my phone.

The magsafe wallet easily fits three cards if you use the included fake card to just stretch the leather once you have three in there.
Yeah I'm going to need to do some stretching because 3 is a PITA to get out when I try it lol.
I bought one today and it's holding 3 cards just fine? How strange. Either way. I LOVE it so far. IT's such a nice object and the way it pings to the phone and aint coming off, it's lovely. If you have something that holds 10 cards, guess what? You'll fill it. It forces me to be minimal.

I am looking for a MagSafe wallet that holds at least 3 cards that can be easily removed and has a built in kickstand for propping the phone up.
Using this one right now (V.2 w/MagSafe), same Golden Brown. It’s ok…definitely love the OEM detail. But the alerts got so annoying I turned them off (getting alerts when it’s in my pocket). Guess I’ll re-enable it when I really need it. The other obvious flaw IS the Find My implementation. It doesn’t actually “find” your wallet ala AirTag or iPhone. They really need to fix that in the next one…or better yet, if they can, update the “firmware” to implement it. I was right about the MagSafe Battery…..

You can easily get 3 in there - I have 2 debit cards and a driver’s license and they fit fine without any tightness.
Might have to break it in a little more.

I don’t use a case on my iPhone 13 Pro Max. Using it with the Apple MagSafe Wallet makes it easier to hold and adds grip to the back of the phone.

I use the Apple MagSafe wallet as my day to day with my debit card, license and conceal carry card. All my cards are on Apple Pay so I rarely have them with me, I keep them all in my Ridge Wallet just in case I go somewhere that doesn’t take Apple Pay.

The only thing stopping me from getting this wallet is they discontinued the saddle brown color.
I use a rustic brown Nomad folio wallet. My only real gripe is that it’s a little bulky.

I'm not an Apple fan but I keep 4 cards with me: drivers license, concealed carry, concealed carry insurance and either my credit card or debit card. If I'm working out then out to eat, I use the Mous Limitless wallet with my Mous case (Note 20 Ultra). Otherwise I use the Dango D3 wallet

Man I still use a dad wallet, but also have a MagSafe wallet from Apple for when I’m in basketball shorts so I don’t have fat pockets 😂 that’s just for my license and a card. But I always gotta have the dad wallet at other times. Some stuff in there is essential.

It depends on your cards. You have more of a chance with a card that doesn't have embossed numbers on it
The find my feature is designed to wait for a minute for people who takes it off the phone to take the cards out so it doesn’t spam you with notifications every time you use it.

Think you’ll have to fold your cash a few folds judging by the wallet’s size 😃
The reason why it isn’t giving you a notification within 30 seconds is because people will take it off to pay, or do whatever with it, and then put it back. It’s set to 60 seconds standard to give you a notification because they count that as ‘’it might be lost’’.

The minute it takes to notify you is intentional and not something they're trying to improve. You have to take of the wallet off every time you use it so sending a notification every single time would be annoying. But the minute wait make sense reminding you took the wallet off to use it but its not back on.

My debit and credit cards are in my iPhone digital wallet.
