    The neck of my tenor sax is pretty dented underneath and on both sides close to the mouthpiece cork and I was feeling hopeless about the repairs !Not anymore now!Thanks.

    Great video, good info with clear illustrations. I've never seen that cute little dent hammer in use before; very interesting. What I'm hoping to see someday is something about expanding loose neck tenons on saxophones. (I have no idea why hammering on trumpets reminded me of that.)

    Great video! Thanks. Would you use these same rods and dent balls for a dent in the bow of the bell on a trumpet?

      No, there are other tools for dents in the bell bow. The only tool that would be the same is the dent hammer. I am planning on doing the Monday brass video on these dents next week.

    Is a dent in 2nd tuning slide a problem to trumpet or just cosmetic?

    • @TheBrassandWoodwindShop
      @TheBrassandWoodwindShop  4 роки тому +1

      Usually it is just cosmetic unless the dent caused a leak, pushed in the 2nd casing so that the valve does not work, or it is so large that it impedes the airflow.
