I think it is unfair to Sarim, he was right to be upset when he saw his fiancée and Adam being too close. A girl would not like her fiancée being too close and too friendly with another girl, so it is natural for the guy to feel the same. Neha knew that she did not feel the same way for Sarim so she should have been upfront and straightforward as the relationship was not being forced on her. The way Sarim himself later decided to not engage Neha shows he is a wise gentleman, as he knows that marrying someone who does not love you will feel miserable, and that marriage will feel like hell.
That doesn't mean he won't respect her 'no'. He can't force her.

@@neetashah1572 I am not saying that what Sarim did was right...A woman has a right to say NO...even to her fiancee...what I am saying is that he did not CREATE a scheme after the fact at the college which he could have done coz she is his fiancee and no man likes seeing another man holding his fiancee hand the way Adam did!But Sarim was a gentleman about the whole issue.
@@nashk8320 I'd like to respectfully disagree. Adam did not hold Neha's hand properly. He just held her arm gently to get her attention after which he let go immediately. Not creating a scheme doesn't make Sarim a gentlemen. He told Qutb that Adam had been disrespectful towards him without telling his own part in it which led to Adam being subjected to Qutb's wrath. In fact Sarim even separated Adam & Neha on a project which was a such a huge oppurtunity for them. In addition to that, he only watched when Neha was surrounded by a group of angry men holding bats. I mean if it angers him that someone so much as held his fiance's arm to get her attention then how the hell is he so calm when his fiance is surrounded by an angry mob? He lost my remaining respect for him when he only stood & watched Neha & Adam in trouble. If he can't even stand up for his soon to be wife when he's in a position of authority with which he could've helped her, if he's such a coward then he's not only far from a gentleman but also very undeserving of Neha. In my opinion Saarim was anything but a gentleman. He seemed like a typical male with his thoughts and was not deserving of Neha one bit. He didn't respect her thoughts and wishes and was the worst partner for her.
