Still love it too 💓💓💓, in past years i thought omg, and i go totaly crazy, awesome games, awesome and total mad Demos, i still use uae on my nintendo, dreamcast and pc, 😇🤘 and never be finish, AMIGA RULEZ
Well.. the hardware hasn't changed.. this was indeed possible in 1987 ;) but over the years we have learned so much more about what the base Amiga 500 can do... and still lots more to be done
This demo was the reason i carried 25Kilos of Sound hardware to my amiga Cave to get the whole experience. The Pictures aside i could not belive Paula could sing so beautiful.... especially the Piano Credits are unheard of. Where is the standart an benchmark of things to come ?!? Here.
Amiga will continue to amaze, from 1985 to 2018 and well beyond. While Amiga helps makes it happen in it's awesome design, it's the sceners who continue to make it shine.
I have to rank this as one of the best Amiga demos I've ever seen. If I saw this running on an A1200 I'd be amazed. The fact that it's running on a 1 meg A500 is something else! Thanks for the upload.
To me this is the best amiga demo ever made i just love it screw 060 this is that good i am so happy Dan is back and i Think the angry retired bastard is too 👍👍👍👍👍🍻🍻🍻🍻🍻
The Amiga NEEDS more demos like this rather than all that 90s happy hardcore crap with their uninspired ps1 looking textured landscapes. Basically we need more weird, wonderful and artsy c64 demos :) Great art, great music and great coding, which this delivered in spades. This blew the competition out of the water and on a much lower spec machine at that. thanks and please keep up the great work. love the end scroll and the music.
Ya well done demo; yes it amazing what you can do with old computers --- elite coding to maximum efficiency to produce the desired presentation for the audience to enjoy! ---- Too bad Atari - Commodore Alliance is not too powerful at the moment; and APPLE AND IBM/MICROSOFT are dominant!
Love the style pushed to the extreme, lots of nice details and this comes from an ATARI hardcore fan ! This is why I am also wondering about the tech side of this demo. Coud you please point out the major tech achievement here please ? I see polished scenes but cannot say if technique is outstanding or not. No offence meant but I think for instance that the 3D scene is nothing but an animation, am I right ? Guess there's a huge trick though as a full animation would take a lot of space. Once again, not starting a fight, just asking questions. :)
Right, the 3D Scene is a video playing. The technic is to uncompress pictures in a quick way and have a limited of data. There are 16 colors per lines, so about 300 colors on screen.
Thanks :) We will be starting on a new demo soon.. but currently we are just fixing some glitches on this one that happen on AGA machines and accelerated amigas, and also creating a HD installable version too. Should be out by the end of the week hopefully :) The whole team behind this demo have 100's of new ideas for some seriously cool demo effects :D
Modules were made in Protracker (or other compatible tracker), and then converted into P61 format, as the replayer is very fast, and allows song data and samples to be placed in separate areas of memory (sample in chip-mem, song data in other-mem of any flavour)
I think Titan Overdrive (or OD 2) had an effect like this before. It's one of my favorite effects, and it's so well done here, very pleasing to the eye. It's awesome how it zooms in just as the music kicks up as well, really nice touch
The last tune was chilling.. so amazing..
One of my favorites. Simply beautiful.
Incredible. If I saw this on my Amiga 500 in 1987 my brain would have melted
It’s 2018 and my brain still melts.
Per Weijnitz Ha ha! Fair point!

Well that was all kinds of awesome
I concur

So inspirational what our 16bit Amigas can do. And the power of creativity in these wonderful people who made this. :)
I actually put this on two floppy discs, The gotek felt to hi tech! I wanted 2018 to go way back in time.
Extreme skills.
my fave part is the credits. beautiful.

This is a new classic!
well deserved first place!
Amazing demo art style and new level of quality in Amiga music.
only Amiga... still rings true today, LIGHT years ahead of its time
Stunning!
I'm going to try this on some real silicon.
10/10

Looks so awesome! Any whdload of this or a working A1200 version? In AmigaOS 3.1.4 the file is not executable. Anyone?
tre cool++!
Is there any videos showing how this is done? I’m super curious.
Hi, this is Dan, one of the coders on this demo. There might be a technical write-up soon for some of the techniques used in this production :)
DeeperSoundz since my first Amiga, want to know about too, but never break the limits 😇😅 nice work, well done 🤘 i like it
thanks :)
DeeperSoundz It’s seriously mind bending. Incredible work!

Where can I download this ?
Why do some of them look like they'd be really good Android games 💯👀
Is this really playing on the A500 with 1 meg? i find it so have to comput! re "brain melting" can it be downloaded anywhere?

Which format is the music?

OK, thank you! I like the music!
