There are two extant species of koklass pheasant: Pucrasia Macrolopha (Southern Koklass Pheasant) and Pucrasia Nipalensis (Northern Koklass Pheasant), despite their name, koklass pheasants are not pheasants at all, they are the only extant genus of the subfamily Pucrasiinae, which actually belongs to the family Tetraonidae, which also includes the grouse and turkeys.

Though effort was good, unfortunately, the back ground and light did not co operate.Birds color had no contest with the group d full of dry leaves etc and the sun light was on the bal of the su eject photographed making silhouette effect, and real bird.not conspicuous.
