Hey Beau, what do you think about apple silicon vs hackintosh since M1 is way powerful and efficient than PC and their next generation m chips i.e M1x, M2, M3, etc will be even more powerful. So what do you think about the future of hackintosh since now apple is getting cheap with apple silicon.
As long as nobody finds a way to use other chips with ARM cores as exchange for the apple silicon the hackintosh future looks very bleak. But since the base of OsX is still a derivative of FreeBSD... ;)
For the same hardware you're paying much more for a Mac. Especially RAM and solid state storage. However, the M1 CPUs is much better in terms of how it integrated with everything else

killall Finder
I followed all the steps carefully in this video, however, after booting from the pendrive, the machine loads all that step of the black screen with several commands executed and after that the machine simply sleeps, the monitor goes off, the machine remains on and nothing happens after of this... has anyone been through this? I have tested it on several different USB ports(USB2.0, 3.0) and the behavior is the same.

Ηι, Oc Gen-X, does not make the efi folder to the desktop, i have mojave hackintosh installed, is there an alternative way or a fix to that?
To have a Hackintosh because you don't have mac you need mac 😢😢
You cannot download Big Sur nor any MAC OS from the App Store! What's the secret magic trick?
I have amd rx470 8gb support hackintosh or not when he support What kind of version does it support
Problem: I only do have a Intel x86 PC for installing! No Apple Hardware around! 😵💫
Didn't worked ,Lenovo V520(10NK) Big Sur, image from MacAir M1 processor
Hey Beau, what do you think about apple silicon vs hackintosh since M1 is way powerful and efficient than PC and their next generation m chips i.e M1x, M2, M3, etc will be even more powerful. So what do you think about the future of hackintosh since now apple is getting cheap with apple silicon.
As long as nobody finds a way to use other chips with ARM cores as exchange for the apple silicon the hackintosh future looks very bleak. But since the base of OsX is still a derivative of FreeBSD... ;)
@@mrwho30 let's see how it goes. But I guess if anyone wants to buys apple today, instead of going with hackintosh he/she will go with M1 silicon.
ummm...did anhyone check the prices of the components? are macs really more expensive than these parts right now?
For the same hardware you're paying much more for a Mac. Especially RAM and solid state storage. However, the M1 CPUs is much better in terms of how it integrated with everything else
@@manashejmadi no doubt... But I used to be able to build a great Mac killer for under $1,000...
. The video card on this isn't even that powerful and is clocking in at almost $750 right now
I'd rather run linux them MAC OS.

The best part is: once you tire of Mac OS you can install Windows or linux or windows and linux.
“Here’s the GPU and speaking of GPUs here is an intel core i9 GPU”
**visible annoyance**
Too bad I have an 11th gen i7 processor so my architecture is Rocket Lake and it wasn’t on the list.
After mac mini m1 was released, i think it's cheaper to get a macintosh pc

Don't worry apple !!! These people accustomed to pay and buy brand instead of build. Especially if it's about apple, they will beg you.
