Nice specs!!! Were you out by the Pines boat ramp? Did you see the new Regs on the specs? I like throwing the old McDonald’s straw at’em with a egg bobber on my main line. The 3/8” Gotcha plug for mid water color silver with white tail. Great video!!!
Definitely a good thing in my book. I never keep more than 5 trout and always release trout over 20 inches so I didn’t feel too much effect. Give it 5-10 years and our trout fishing will be world class
@@KayakingKennedy I could not agree more. I only keep about 3-4 myself. Looks like LL was a good day in this vid! I stay "near" to the flying harpoon. Hopefully with the new regs, in a few years we can start getting those regular 6-8 lbs specs
Kayaking_Kennedy I live in Louisiana and though we have really big schools of trout the size has declined a lot. They are thinking all the fresh water has them stunted or the bigger fish are staying outside and not going into the marsh as much. I’m hoping we drop the limit to 15 but keep 12” and keeping one over 21”. Wish us luck.
Yea I saw a story not too long ago about some stock assessment numbers getting released and things weren’t looking good. Hope it works out in y’all a favor!
You get to have all the fun
One of these days soon you’ll get back out there with me!!
That was some nice trout! Enjoyed the video!
Thanks mark!
Awesome video as always!
Thanks Jason!
Looked like a good outing. Shows you gotta get up early to do well in summer
Thanks Wesley! No doubt about that, most of our quality fish have been coming before 7am lately
awesome!
Thanks dude!
Fun trip you took us on, thinks. I’m into Z-Spook mostly but I use them all. Looking forward to your next one.
Thanks man! Can’t go wrong with the spooks.
Flounder?? Awesome bud! Yeah, you got into the specks. Great video!
Ooh yea! Felt like I was you or TJ out there catching it 🤣
Kayaking_Kennedy Wow, putting me in a class of fishermen that I’m not sure I belong in. Lol
Shoooot y’all are the only people I know over here that can catch them consistently 🤣
Kayaking_Kennedy Ha, thanks man!! I’m just glad TJ leaves us a flounder or two to catch. Lol
Top dog Jr. Is my favorite
Can’t go wrong with mirrolures!
I caught 7.5 lb spec in the Bon Secour River on 1. It looked like an explosion when he hit the top of the water.
The head cam gives a far better view than the chest cam. I wish more UA-cam fishermen used it.
No doubt man!

Thanks man! 👀 I can neither confirm or deny that 🤣🤣 yea I love using those in deeper water, I’ve never had much luck with them in the shallows though.
Looks like our back yard Scott.... did you put in at Jeff Friend?
Yepp!
The dislikes are the people who don’t like fishing

How do you feel about the new creel limits?
