word of advice: from what I've been told riding and practing for 4 years is to never disrespect a bull after you ride him. (shooting your fingers like a gun at him) or your Bullriding days are over. That bull gave you a good ride and your on your feet walking off safe,but it could've end up different and harmful. same with PBR native american bullrider Ryan Dirteater use to ride and shoot his bow/arrow at the bull before the bull left the arena. to that end- he was getting hurt alot and broke his leg. now he shoots his imaginary bow n arrow to the clown flint, which now Ryan Dirteater is riding better 2016-2017.
You all really using a hot shot for your bulls to buck at a junior bull riding event ? I thought the nnjbra would have more sense and not recommend them!. If you need a hot shot or pocket rocket for your bulls to buck sell em or get rid of em!.
Do you even know why a small shock is used ? I rode for 13 years and since you have rode surely you know. However with that being said, the long stick should not be used. It only invites accusations from ignorant animal rights activists.

Just as a point of reference, I ride bulls at events where the animals aren’t shocked. They just buck like hell
