The dude was not even close with his Caleb comments It does not matter that many in NE believe Maye is the better candidate. What matters if Vrable thinks Caleb or Trevor are also talented QBs. I can tell you for sure that there is still tons of faith in Caleb throughout the league. NE might have the edge but not because of QB. It is because of front office and history with team. NE is picking first for a reason and that matters.

Ben Johnson would be the best option since we need for Maye and Milton to progress as quick as possible. Mayo held both our rookie QB's back. He also could've used Milton for certain plays like design QB runs.
To be honest imo Milton is more NFL ready nrite now then Maye is. That 2 year age difference is probably why. Milton has way better foot work, ball placement and can run without fear of him getting hurt. We can't do that with Maye because of his Jimmy Garropollo frame. Only a mattern of time before he gets imjured. Which is why you don't trade Milton.

Lets face it Vrabel has a lot of leverage. Manufactured or not. there is a belief out there that Patriots would not have fired Mayo, unless the Pats were not very confident that Mike Vrabel would take the job,. (I don't buy/believe that by the way). Which means if Vrabel chooses another team which is willing to give him his GM of choice etc etc., the media pundits will proclaim " Its a disaster Vrabel is not coming to NE, how did the Krafts not think this through !!" If Vrabel insists on having the GM of his choice and giving Wolf some other title, Pats will have to give him what he wants.

I apologize in advance I haven't read all the comments but to phil Perry, Tommy Rees was also a quarterback also for Notre Dame. So my question who was his OC @ ND back when he was QB'ing? If it was a west coast offensive minded OC then by all means grab Tommy Rees. As phil said West Coast offense have different lingo but it still a west coast offense and to Tom Curran like you said someone said to you this morning the last thing you wanna do is change things up for Drake. If what AVP ran was a West Coast offense then you bring in a West Coast O.C. Just my opinion

Teams should be able to go after whoever they want. Rooney Rule means well but it’s stupid. I was split between Ben Johnson and Vrable, but now I think it’s definitely Vrable. This organization is so broken, it’s a better choice to pick the guy that has more experience as an HC. I love the offensive genius that Johnson brings but I don’t think this team is ready for that, meaning the personnel is years away from being about to take advantage of an advantage scheme. In the meantime, the organization needs repair.

"Come on man" give up trying to run BB football without BB! We need a fresh start with a coach that is offensive minded and not from the BB coaching tree. We need Ben Johnson whose entire career has been spent developing offensive players. He's proven he can rebuild and make an offense competitive in today's NFL. Give Ben a chance he's 10 times more qualified than Mayo was and he's better for Drake Maye. Do we really want Mc Daniels back with his over complicated schemes and short passing game that everyone knows he's going to do.
