WOR-FM was a groundbreaker. I think the original intent was to provide an Adult approach to the Hot 100, but it evolved into one of the first Progressive Rock stations in the US. It beat KMPX to the Progressive Rock market by about eight or nine months. Wonderful mix of music here. Thanks Ellis. You Rock!

Bandicoot It’s Rosco, during his NY rock days at WOR-FM. He was in air at OR-FM for a while before quitting & going to WNEW-FM and playing progressive rock.

Oh man, this guy is smooth, I like this! @3:19 reminds me of the "toot-toot ahhh beep-beep" line from Donna Summers' tune, "Bad Girls". Good advice @ 6:59 "Cool it! An extra minute to get there might keep you out of the wheel chair or worse, the hurst. Save that rubber..."
