Thanks for uploading this. ZoundZ were a fantastic 3 piece with great songs and lyrics. When Cant cheat Karma was originally released I was a 13 yr old kid and I instantly fell in love with the band. If they had ever wanted to score a top ten hit in the national charts then songs such as Subvert, Demystification, More Trouble and Dancing would easily have taken them there. The band had a very broad appeal across all the youth cultures of the 1980s Punks Rude Boys, Goths, mods etc. Steve if youre reading this the last time I spoke to you, you apologised and promised to buy back my 12 inches of Welcome to the monkey house and Every Life ha haha.
Hi Robert - glad you like the video. It’s great that you were only 13 when you discovered Zounds - I am 13, I play in a band called Indignation Meeting and we supported Zounds in Leeds last December. They invited me to sing backing vocals with them on Dancing, which was amazing. There’s a video of it here: ua-cam.com/video/hIQOvKXo8n0/v-deo.html
@@phsmusicvideos3449 WOW only 13 and already an accomplished drummer and singer, good for you mate. I was around 14 when I started to play bass guitar, and continue on that musical journey to this day on a one way ticket.... I have sent you a link to a piece of music I composed that shows some of that very journey. The tune is roughly 9 mins long and starts off very dark and then mellows out its meant to represent the duality of our species. It is also accompanied by a great photographic montage of images I assembled which looks at our species destructive nature. If you ever get a chance share this with Steve so he has an idea of the kind of positive influence he has had.. In the meantime Bon Voyage on your musical journey. ua-cam.com/video/5bNWO8sLD7I/v-deo.html
