- Thankfully I'm no genius so I was already in love with them without any problem. Also who would make it an issue to fall for them? Now I have to say, I absolutely love this MV, the colors, the saturation, the explosion of bright colors etc. The styling made me feel so excited and I personally think is one of their best era!!! It's really giving me "main character" shit and omg do I love it! It's almost like they're pulling us form the strict more serious character to the more mischievous, playful character and that I find to be such a tease!!! Like they're playing a double game here and it's reminding me of a sweet and sour candy kinda. This is super cheeky! They all look so so so good!
Now about the song, I think it's still too early for me to say that I like this song, all I can say is that I am not disliking it but it has a lot of room to grow on me for sure. I'm super curious to know what the general public think of this song actually since this is quite a reversal compared to their past few comebacks!

not the normal range like her bday cover song but it's a lower range so it's still a win for us fans
@@______6220 there is something wrong with singing high pitch when u don’t have the ability to support it, jyp has a tendency of making momo sing in a way higher pitch than he should be making her sing so she sounds very nasally ( which gives her that "cute voice " jyp loves so much ). But in this range she sound comfortable and she doesn’t have to be nasally since it’s not hard for her to sing it so we get to hear her real voice

It's very different from what they did, but different for the better. It's not that song you say: Wow, look at the high notes and etc... But it's far from bad, keeping the key down for everyone being able to sing and feel more at ease was a chef's kiss

Honestly, this is TWICE's range. A lot of them have great low voice like listen how good their low voices here especially Momo.

Twice actually gave us so many different concepts this year. Kurakura was very powerful, on the other hand alcohol-free was very chill. Femme Fatale concept in perfect world was amazing, then we got the feels with a funny pop sound and scientist which is very bubbly. And we will even get a ballad song as a japanese release in december. So i guess twice are no longer trying to fit in mature concept. We love the queens who are not afraid to experiment
You said it before in The Feels video, but it still applies here. SCIENTIST is a fresh sound for Twice and yet it's still very much TWICE, the bubbly happy bright Twice that we all know and love. You won't mistake this song as something that is not Twice, and yet you know that they still show that they've grown.
I am literally listening to SCIENTIST since it came out on repeat. Its fresh addicting and catchy. I love this science-love concept.
Everyone's been complimenting the sidetracks more than the title, but to be honest, Scientist was a perfect title track for the album, everyone shined equally and you can still distinguish this as as TWICE genre. ONCE FIGHTING!
I literally had a huge smile during the whole video. Music, Aesthetics and Fashion is on point! Twice never disappoints!
What I really like about Twice is that they're not afraid to experiment their style of music, so matter what genre they're trying, it's still Amazing! And the Bsides?!?! PERFECT!

Loved the song and MV from the start. Definitely agree about how stunning Sana and Momo looked. They all were. I appreciate both the bubblegum pop and mature side of Twice so I like it when they switch it up to fit the song. This year the Japanese comebacks like Perfect World seemed more mature to me than the Korean and English ones. We’ll see which way the next Japanese release Doughnut will go in December. I think it will be a ballad. I’d be interested in a Twice MV ranking video. Thanks for the great reaction!

It's hard to make hard hitting songs that fall in the lower vocal register, which is what Onces kept asking for. Alcohol-Free and Scientist are mellow compared to ICSM and DTNA. Be careful what you ask for. And if you get what you want, then you should accept the consequences.

That being said, the droning baseline of this song had me hooked from the jump. I always love when they sing in their lower registers, and Mina's voice hooked me as well. The Momo-Jeongyeon bridge was a pleasant surprise. All around, this is a smooth jam of a song.

I think it's just refreshing to have like...a lower melody in a kpop girl group song??? It feels like it's been so long! Esp with twice! Their lower ranges are lovely and rich and it's NICE!

The fact Jeongyeon once again have the role of guardian angel, stopping the emergency alert, taking actions to stop things from going wrong, is making me sooooo happy ! Also it's the first MV showing that since "I can't stop me" aka when she went on a hiatus even if she was on every MV since then. And we've had very different/mature concept since that (cry for me, kura kura, alcool free, perfect World at least, the feels not so much but still different because full english song) just like if while she was dealing with problems the group went in all directions and as soon as she's back we got pure Twice concept cause Jeongyeon the guardian angel shows the way ! 😍
