I honestly believe you are the greatest horticulturist and plant archivist of our time. Your gentle, clear approach and explanations are so inspiring. I am beyond delighted that you are on UA-cam so we can enjoy your floret experience anytime day or night. Thank you!
Beautiful video! Here in Australia we had a famous rose breeder, Alistair Clarke, who released 122 different varieties of fragrant roses. We have a gorgeous garden maintained by Council and volunteers which aims to protect them. Plants can be a time capsule and I just love how they can connect us to humans that are no longer here. 🥰🌸💕
Oh man, I’m an ecologist and the botanist/natural history nerd kicked in so hard watching this video! The hours and days you could spend documenting the growth stages and characteristics of each species to accompany the nursery/collection! Just envisioned sitting in that field with a natural history sketchbook and giant sun hat having the most peaceful nerdy time! Loving the videos! Please keep them coming ☺️
Hello from Ontario Canada! I have many roses, mostly DA and Eden but there is one rose that is so dear to my heart and belonged to my Grandfather who was a gardener. I tagged along on his journey as a small child while he taught me all the names of plants and how to care for them. The rose I have that was his must be over 100 years old and is called "Dorothy Perkins" it only blooms once, it is quite thorny and there isn't much fragrance but wow what a reliable and prolific bloomer! I have moved it from home to home and it is invincible. I think I love it so much because of the memories it brings to me about my grandfather and our precious time together.
I am loving the Floret youtube videos! Thank you for sharing and keep them coming! :)
Your roses look like they are all in the rugosa family. 1400 ROSES!!!
Loved Ann’s story and was so inspired to learn, preserve, and grow more roses 🌹. Thank you for sharing everything and all the amazing resources.
Yay! Thanks for uploading more videos on your channel. It’s so inspiring.
I love how your brain works! I do the same thing where I sort all the things in common so I can figure out how to just id them apart from the other varieties. I bought roses for my birthday this year. Every year I intend on adding more. What a treasure you have.
Love love all of it. I hear the birds, the ducks are so cute, it's flower heaven!
I love moss roses! I have owned a number of them in the past including a very charming pink miniature that had a "grown up" rose scent. That one looked like it came right out of a beautiful fantasy story. I have also grown most of the Griffith Buck roses and have really loved them. They are very tough but still refined. I love the wild pink roses from the mountains of the west and used to have a special (but manageable) place for "Harrison's Yellow" which I raised from cuttings from old, old homesteads. Everything you are doing looks like such fun! Money is handy but sometimes roses are nicer. 🌹
How gorgeous is that ! You’re so lucky to have such a collection !
Loving all these new videos!! Thank you!! So beautiful!
These are gorgeous roses how fun to do this big deep dive! And I’ve watched all the Growing Floret second season I hundred percent💯😭so moving!!
I am working on a driveway rainbow rose garden 160 feet my sweet Dear daughter 22 asked for ! It’s a massive work for the area fit and what I want!!! So fun figuring these garden things out!!
Love it!
Bravo!! & Thank you!!
So many roses! I just bought one today. I'm going to learn from your channel. Thank you!
Wow! That's summer weather?
😊
I like the way you organize the rose project. The mystery roses is a giant puzzle that we get to watch you and your team discover! Thank you for joining UA-cam! Where can I find your blog? Would love to read the referenced interviews. Enjoyed watching Season 2 of “Making Floret”, great way to show the inter working of your farm.
Hi @susanmason3432! The resources are all linked in the video description. You can also find them here - www.floretflowers.com/blog/. We hope you enjoy them!
Looks like pink lemonade honeysuckle
Do you have the Bermuda group? I’ve been wanting to do more research on those but they don’t grow in my zone.
Are you going to propagate and sell these roses or has Gregg sent them to a dead end, where they will be never again be available?
I can’t believe us Australians cannot access growing floret 😢😢😢
Moss?? I thought that was some kind of sickness!!! 🤷🏻♀️
Dear Erin, we love you and your videos, but please get a lapel mike or find another way to improve your sound. Your voice fades in and out, making it difficult to hear you sometimes. So glad to see you on YT, from fans here on Whidbey Island.
Don’t talk as your facing/walking away from the camera.
